multiplayer now works, but it has reset my progress

Since i have 2 user on my pc, would it work to install on the other user?

Thanks all, the problem has not been resolved, i have tried the guide and it had the right error but it seems outdated. I have reinstalled truckersMP and ETS2 itself but without luck, and this is what comes up Regards

When i go to play, a mesage comes up that says:"an error occured when trying to connect to our update servers" . i looked and cannot find a new fallback after this update any idea how to fix
