Hello truckers!
We’ve been delighted to see how well our first TruckersMP exclusive Cargo Delivery Event - Fruity Freight Fiesta - has been received over the past month. In this conclusion blog, we will round up the final delivery statistics and reveal the community rewards.
As part of Fruity Freight Fiesta, you were given the opportunity to earn a personal reward in the form of a profile achievement for completing five deliveries of the fruity cargoes (‘Boxes of Grapes’, ‘Giant Mangoes’, ‘Boxes of Oranges’, ‘Giant Pineapples’ & ‘Giant Watermelons’)
We can reveal that an impressive 14,672 players earned this profile achievement - congratulations if you were one of the players that unlocked this reward!
In addition, we set a community goal of 20,000 deliveries, and as announced on our social media channels, this goal was reached in less than a week, however, that didn’t slow the community’s enthusiasm for the event and deliveries of the fruity cargoes continued at pace.
We can confirm that a whopping 186,195 deliveries were made in total by the community, far exceeding our expectations - we’ll have to set a more ambitious community goal for the next one!
The most popular fruity cargo was Giant Watermelons, with the other four fruity cargoes following closely behind - here are all of the totals:
- Giant Watermelons - 42,282
- Giant Pineapples - 37,169
- Boxes of Oranges - 36,679
- Giant Mangoes - 35,463
- Boxes of Grapes - 34,602
As a result of the community goal being reached, the community reward has now been released, it features a set of fruity cabin accessories for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 including:
- Hanging toy models representing each of the Fruity Freight Fiesta cargoes (Grapes, Mango, Orange, Pineapple and Watermelon)
- Fruity Freight Fiesta hanging logo
- Fruity Freight Fiesta cardboard box
We’d like to thank everyone that took part in Fruity Freight Fiesta, we hope you enjoyed it!
If you have any feedback regarding Fruity Freight Fiesta or have any ideas for future Cargo Delivery Events feel free to join the conversation on the forum, Discord or by submitting a feedback ticket to Community Management. We really do value your feedback!
See you at the next event! TruckersMP Team

Greetings truckers!
Since the first iteration of Real Operations back in 2017, it has been one of the most popular community events on TruckersMP. With fourteen editions (and more to come in the future!) under our belts, we have come a long way, constantly working hard to develop new ideas and tools to make each event better than the last.
Following the introduction of one of the most useful of these tools, our Dynamic Objects System (DOS) - which enables our talented team to interact with the in-game environment on live servers, allowing the placement of a whole host of custom objects including traffic management solutions, smart signs, props and vehicles - we have had ambitions to bring live events to our most popular server - Simulation 1, and have been working hard behind the scenes to make this a reality.
Today we are very excited to announce the launch of Featured Zone - the first of our live events to take place on Simulation 1.
What is Featured Zone?
In this edition of Featured Zone, taking place between 3rd June and 2nd July, TruckersMP will be undertaking a live, in-game construction project to bring the highways around Calais up to ‘Managed Motorway’ standards, this includes the installation of permanent overhead gantries and smart signage, that will allow this heavily populated area to be more effectively managed on an ongoing basis.
The event will give players the chance to see the construction progress in real time as well as witness a variety of special vehicles at work across the Featured Zone area, providing plenty of interest and opportunities for unique interactions.
To facilitate the works, a series of lane closures and speed restrictions are in place to give our team space to work safely, additional full closures and diversions are also planned across the four weeks when required. Members of our Event Team and Game Moderation Team will also be on hand to make sure things go smoothly.
Whilst travelling through the area please remember the following;
- Queues are likely, please be patient and follow all road rules whilst travelling through the zone
- Follow all signage and instructions provided by TruckersMP staff
- Reduced speed limits with speed cameras are in operation throughout the zone
- Do not stop in the zone, if you break down use F7 to teleport to services
We hope that you enjoy this new innovation from TruckersMP, we’d love to hear your feedback about Featured Zone - let us know what you think on the forum, Discord or by submitting a feedback ticket to Community Management
Be sure to share your pictures with us too, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #TMPFeaturedZone :camera_with_flash:

Update to our Game Moderation Strategy
in News Archive
Posted
Greetings players,
Over the last few years, our core game moderation strategy has remained largely the same, with reports being taken both in-game, and also through our dedicated website report system. This has been with the pledge that every website report will be handled, which in doing so, takes up a lot of resources.
Arguably, this has led to many web reports being generated - 53,934 in Q2 of 2023 - and time being focussed on processing these instances, rather than spending time in-game, looking at the game report system, and rule violations that are occurring in real-time. Additionally, these website reports come with the added complexity that evidence is not always of the best quality, or in line with our reporting rules, found under section §1.4 here.
Furthermore, the fact that every website report will be reviewed at some point has led to a toxic, ‘rec-ban-culture’ forming, where some players make it their mission to report every single rule violation they may come across, no matter how small or trivial, even when it doesn’t impact on their experience majorly. Again, a large portion of time is spent dealing with these reports by our team, some of which involve incidents that occurred weeks ago. This puts undue pressure on our system, and leads to genuine reports being delayed, with perpetrators being able to continue in-game - you can see how a cycle can begin to form, where serious instances are piling up, due to dealing with these trivial reports, and time is detracted from being in-game.
TruckersMP aims to stay true to our players, making changes that enhance the gameplay experience. Ultimately this is a game, and there has to be an understanding that there are instances when a simple mistake may be made, not requiring further action. We believe that allowing our moderators to focus more of their time and resources towards being in-game brings a multitude of benefits, such as increased community interaction, visible presence and also the ability to utilise on-the-spot tools, such as teleporting or kicking a player, which can prevent or deal with incidents, without having to resort to banning a player. At the moment we are very responsive, rather than proactive in our moderation.
In order to make this transition, we are implementing some changes to the way that we handle reports that are made through the website system. This will begin with the maximum number of website reports a user can create being capped at ten. This is because we’ve found that this hits the balance between the need to report genuinely disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, compared with misusing the system and reporting a multitude of trivial rule violations. Reports will continue to be scored, and those who continue to make reports that do not meet the reporting rules will eventually be left in a situation where they may only create one report. In addition, the reporting window on the website has been reduced from fourteen days to seven, once again to ensure reports are relevant, and it is the serious issues being passed onto us, through that system.
We’re trying hard to put a stop to the attitude some players take, being against one another, reporting for very minor things. Equally however, we still intend to deal with those who cause serious issues in-game, that impacts upon players severely, with stringent moderation actions. As touched upon before, it is our hope to be able to be more proactive, focussing our efforts on the here and now, in the game itself.
On an additional note, we have also introduced a system to anonymise our moderation. This means when you are banned or have a report handled, you will not see the name of the moderator who issued a punishment. This aims to reduce the abuse and harassment that unfortunately some of our team have to endure, when they issue punishments in-game. You will still be able to discuss with this moderator in your appeal, but they will just remain anonymous.
We hope that you can see the vision here, and share our thoughts on wanting to make improvements with the way that reports are handled. If you do have any feedback, you can contact Game Moderation Management, by creating a feedback ticket here.
Keep safe, and see you out on the roads!
