I have noticed that when you report someone and that person gets banned, the one who reported the perpetrator cannot see the ban duration. You also can't see the ban duration on the perpetrator's profile page. Why did they do this? Is there a way to get it back?

I have gotten banned and I don't agree at all about the reasoning behind the ban. Is there a way to get another admin to look at my ban appeal?
