Game crash

Hello, when i try to change the color of my tag, as soon as i click on the colored square next to the tag  in the options menu, my game crashes. I try it on the main menu of the client, and in game, they both crash.

After i've tried everything ( uninstalling the launcher and even the game, ccleaner, ect...) the only thing that worked was to change manually the color like this user did :

It's the not the easiest way, but the only one that works.

Please delete your config file on Documents/ETS2MP/config. Then enter multiplayer with Admin. 

The file will be re-created automatically.

Try this method:

 

> Go to Steam Library

> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

Dear @RageMania64,

Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework (4.7) or later, DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015. Also, don't forget to verify your game files! General Crashes and errors that you may experience with the launcher or the game try CCleaner to remove temporary files and obsolete registry paths. Hope this helps

Hi

It seems that your crash is caused by Documents/ETS2MP/config or corrupted files.

Have you tried to delete TMP and the files, than reinstall it ?

Do you use any mods on Multiplayer ? If have, please remove it and try again

 

Then follow these guides:

• Please start TMP as admin. Maybe this will solve your problem!
• Try to press F1 while you are in the launcher to redownload some updates! (Don't click 'Launch game') 
• Check the drivers of your graphics card and run as administrator

Try reinstalling the TruckersMP mod.

Follow this:

1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

5. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
