0 the bored hermit Posted September 9, 2017 Share Posted September 9, 2017 (edited) Hi toofastforu, this error commonly occurs when your internet connetion is playing up i suggest you try reinstalling TMP or restart your modem to see if that fixes the problem seem as you havnt supplied a picture i cant really help you without knowing what exact error it is im just going off what your saying this may be a different error but this is the most common error if you could add a photo thatd be great also with your post title please do somthing descriptive such as unable to update error instead of just I need help. Also this post belongs in help not discussion please make sure you watch where you post it next time. Ensure MSI Afterburner or Riva Tuner are not running when attempting to download the updates, since these two programs are known to cause conflicts with our launcher. After following what was said above, run the launcher as admin, press F1 and download the updates again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If the above fails to work ^ Please use the Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 Follow the instructions below: > From your Control Panel in Windows, go to Network and Sharing Center > Click on 'change adapter settings' as shown by this image: http://prntscr.com/fqn10u > Right click the network you are connected on and select 'properties' as shown by this image: http://prntscr.com/fqn1de > Select Internet Protocol Version 4... and select 'properties' as shown: http://prntscr.com/fqn1to > Select 'Use the following DNS Server addresses and enter the Google DNS values (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 ) as shown by this image: https://prnt.sc/fqn28s - Press OK and restart your computer. > After having restarted your computer, please go ahead and attempt to download the updates (ensure you run the launcher as administrator first).
