No Steam overlay and can't press shift+tab

Hello i have this problem when i launch ETS 2 MP no steam overlay appears and can't press shift+tab and I've tried running single player and it works but it doesn't work in mp?

And i tried running it as administrator and still same.

 

Specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

Intel Core 2 Duo P8800 2.66 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220M 1GB DDR2

4 GB RAM DDR3

Hello,

i think i have one solution

• Start your Steam
• When it had started then open the ETS2MP

(I think that is the solution because i know this problem. When I have started my PC and have clicked first of all on the ETS2MP then it tries to start Steam and the process has broke down and i could not  do anything)

@Just_AHDAre you using Rivatuner as that is known to clash with the overlay.  Have a look here https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9394-yofv-0014
