Hello there @Czondir

First of all, welcome to TruckersMP Forums, here in Help Section

My name is Petr (RedWolf), and today I will be hadnling and try to help you with your current issue.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are few things you may need to check:

       1. Check your default microphone - it shouldn't be set to stereo mix or similar

       2. Check if your headset has the mic mute switch somewhere. If you find it, set it into opposite state - you might've muted the mic by accident.

       3. Check the volume of the default microphone - if it's very low(close to 0%), raise it up.

       4. Check if you have plugged in the microphone into microphone connector(may not be applicable for USB headsets).

As the next - >  make sure that CB radio is actually turned on in-game.

If everything listed is checked and fixed(if applicable) there's settings in-game to change the volume of CB transmit and receive.

In the settings(cog icon) select "sound" tab and you'll find voice and mic volume sliders. First one sets the CB receive volume, the second one sets the CB transmit volume.

Open your panel with the TAB key multiplayer > Voice > Voice volume setting pull to the right.

Open the game. Return to the desktop.at the time sound level in the audio mixer from the speaker icon, right click on TruckersMP.

Also try these, if the solution posted above did not help you:

Steam > Settings > Contact > Sound Recorder make sure that the correct device is selected here.

Try to uninstall the drivers sound (Realtek) remove.  Download and install again

Try turning up the volume. Go Tab > Settings > Sounds a have a play with the sound levels

"My Documents-ETS2MP" can you delete the folder and try again

Run the multiplayer mod as admin

We'll wait for your response! 🙂 I'm ready to answer fast and give you another solutions, if there will be some

Have a good day!

Kind Regards,

RedWolf [CZ]

Hello @Czondir

First welcome you join TruckersMP Community ! :tmp:

About the question you raised, I suggest you can check out the follow this content

Do you see a speaker icon at the bottom right corner when you press and hold X? If not, then try doing these:

> Check if your headset has the mute button (if there is) turned off.
> Type "microphone" in the Windows search bar and then click "Microphone privacy settings"
> The first text shows that whether or not the microphone access is on and in order to use your microphone that setting should be "Microphone access for this device is on". If it is on then scroll down and make sure "allow desktop apps to access your microphone" is enabled. If not, you can just change it.
> Go to settings in TruckersMP (cog icon in TAB menu or at the top left corner that is at the log-in screen when you first launch TMP) then under the sound section you'll see a setting called "Microphone device". Try out all of these options you've got there by clicking "Start test" to see which one works.
> If you are using a jack connector for your microphone device the jack cable must be connected to the microphone port (they are mostly colored in pink and have an icon). However some PC cases have speaker and microphone in a single port so this might not be the case (pun-unintended) for you.
> As a last resort, reinstall the truckersmp launcher (https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/147)

Keep in mind that you can't hear or speak with anyone if you are on channel 0. If you have the speaker and microphone ports seperate then you'll have to use a jack splitter.

Any further this can let me know, I hope I can help you ❤️
