Some of the antiviruses consider our newest launcher as a threat mistakenly, however, there is nothing wrong with the launcher files and there is no real threat there, that's something we can guarantee. The solution to successful install of the launcher is completely disabling or even uninstalling the antivirus as that may cause issues with the installation, downloading launcher updates or starting the multiplayer. First of all, I would like to point out that TruckersMP Launcher was detected as a "virus" with Windows Defender for a while, but now they have solved that problem. Certain antivirus programs may detect some games downloaded from steam or applications such as launcher as you experienced, as a threat because of "IDP.Generic". For trustability, ONLY download and install TruckersMP Launcher from this link: https://truckersmp.com/download . As I mentioned above, some antivirus programs can do such things. I have added the virustotal result and windows defender result below for you. ( Since my computer is Turkish, the windows defender result is also Turkish. ) As a solution, put TruckersMP Launcher in the trusted applications section of your antivirus program. There is absolutely no virus in TruckersMP Launcher, so you can use it easily. I hope I was able to solve your problem clearly. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
