How to turn promod def file into .scs

Slimaa

Question

Hi,

I've recently installed promods for ETS2, but i cannot figure out how to turn my def file from a .zip to a .scs, the only cause of what isn't letting me connect to the promods server. All I need to know is how to fix it and that should be the last piece solved as to connecting. I should also mention that I use WinRAR if that affects it at all.

Thanks.

Hi Slimaa,

i've tried to reproduce your problem.
Every time when I create a promod-def file I got automaticly a scs-file.

Have you delete your file and create a new? Have you choose any special* options?

*like other colors or add an ETS/ATS DLC?

Every time i download it it turns into a .zip file, no special options just the default, and ive re downloaded at least 3 times. May it have something to do with WinRAR?

Hello @Slimaa,

I recommend you try using a different web browser for downloading the def file.

This seems to be a common problem at the moment when using a specific web browser (like Chrome).

Please let us know if this helped you to solve the problem.

Kind regards,
