Today I want to show you "Sim Dashboard", a Tool I've been using for a few months already and got asked about it a few times in Discord. So here I am showing you what it is, what you can do with it, and how to use it. Sorry if my English is not the best. What is Sim Dashboard? From their Website In case of ETS2/ATS it means you can show many Information from the game and also add Indicators, Buttons, etc. Here is an example of my actual Setup with a custom created overview. As you can see, there are not only buttons for in-game controls. I also added Buttons to control NVIDIA GeForce Experience, OBS and Discord. How does Sim Dashboard work? Sim Dashboard needs 3 things before you can start using it. The Client Software on your PC (free) An Android Device (smartphone or tablet) The App on your device (free) device and pc has to be on the same network As I already mentioned, it's all free, but... with the free versions you are limited on how many Buttons/Information (called Widgets) you can use in your Dashboard. You got the option to buy "pro" functions in the Android app to get the ability to use endless Widgets. The positive side: you buy it per game, that's makes it quite cheap. I'm not going to give you any price on it because differs per country (tax etc). Also, positive: You can use 2, 3 or even more phones / tablets for different things (I'm planing a 2nd one to have 1 for only buttons and 1 for only information). You don't need to buy the pro features twice. Just use the same Google Account on the 2nd device and you can use all pro functions like on your first device. The App comes with some predefined Dashboard Templates but you can also create your own ones. With one of the last updates you get also a web editor (called SIM Dashboard Studio) to work on your dashboard using your browser instead of managing them on the phone/tablet, which makes it way easier. The possibilities to use this tool are just endless. You can also add "pages" to swipe between a map, buttons and information if you want to, or use just one screen and add whatever you want, however you want. You can map all switches and buttons for in-game functions, or keyboard shortcuts or just map them to keys. That's why it is also so easy to add buttons for functions out of the game like NVIDIA, OBS, Discord, etc. using shortcuts or key combinations. You can change the size and color of everything, you get many tools like the boxes shown above and you can even upload your own images for buttons/switches in on and off state or active/inactive state. Also, you can use "indicators" showing if your lights are on, your lift axle is up/down etc and easily map them to existing in-game indicators using the "Widget sidebar" to configure them. And on top of that, you can share your Designs with the community or find some existing designs for Dashboards to use them yourself, like my one I'm showing here, can be downloaded also AnotherAlex E13 Design: https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/designs/view.php?id=2c9g How do i get this amazing tool? Just check their website, there are also tutorials on how to install and configure the client and the app. Maybe I will add some ETS/ATS specific tutorials in the next few days. Website of SIM Dashboard: https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/index.php?lang=en_US ETS / ATS Special Page: https://www.stryder-it.de/simdashboard/ets2_ats?lang=en_US Download the Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.stryder_it.simdashboard What about IOS Users? Well... there is no Apple Version for that tool because of the regulations and limitations of apple. If you have any questions about the Client or the App, the Studio and/or how to use it, feel free to ask me here, or contact me in Discord and I get in touch with you as soon as possible.
