  1. Hi everyone, At the moment the the EU2 server on ets2mp has 3.500 available slots for players to join. What if in the future the servers will extend more? How to handle for example te Calais-Duisburg route? I found myself a sollution: The map becomes devided in multiple areas. For instence Scandinavia, Benelux, France, UK, East-Europe (Germany, Poland, Hungary, ect.), Italy, Switserland and Austria (because of upcoming DLC)(These 6 area's are based on how the density of players is now). Then we can make a maximum number of players which can visit one area. For example if we can afford 10.000 people on a server (I don't know if it is even possible), you do 10.000 divided by the number of areas. 10.000 / 6 = about 1.700 player slots per area. How to control this adjustment? Peolple can't spawn into area's which are full. People can't drive into area's which are full. I'm not entierly sure how to achieve this. But we can reach it by kicking and non-collision zones at the borders of an area. Do you guys have a way to make this plan better or have another plan for dealing with high numbers of traffic in the future? Best regards, Thieme
