One of the main reasons I do not play MP very often is because of how slow time advances. I understand that this is a server limitation, but hear me out on this method. What if when we log in, the server tells your computer what the server time is, and then the game sets the time accordingly, and after that the game is responsible for advancing the time as it normally does (in MP). Obviously it would have to be 1:20 time everywhere including in cities but it would still be better as we spend most of our time on the highway. And to prevent time discrepancies or possible cheating, the server would check in with the client every 10 minutes or so and sync the time to our computer if it is off.
What do you guys think?

Currently, when the Scout shifts between gears, it's very choppy. It momentarily pauses between gears and then shifts, even in automatic mode. This is annoying and unrealistic. Please fix it, thanks.

What is C-D?

Ah, didn't know that rule existed.

Suggestion Name: Blinking red lights all times of the day
Suggestion Description: Many times you come to a red light and nobody is around for a long distance. I think that lights should blink red (meaning you can treat it like a stop sign) if there are no trucks within a 300 meter radius
Any example images: No
Why should it be added?: Sitting at a red light waiting for nothing is a waste of time

Hi?

I +1 this as well, would be useful if you go AFK/get kicked for high ping (which happens sometimes)

Okay, I filed a report.

Here they are, but the report system shows a different username for the ID.
-
I already said, that his user ID was not found in the report form.

It's not another car, just a chassis/cabin option on the current Skoda.
-
Name: convertible variant for scout car
Description: Allow us to customize our Scout to make it a convertible for cruising in ATS.
Why should it be added: It would be a nice little addition without having to make a whole new car.
-
Changed the format

Suggestion Name: Higher shift for automatic transmission in Scout carsSuggestion Description: The transmission in the automatic for Scout cars shifts at 3000 RPM. It should shift higher at full throttle, maybe around 4500 RPM
Any example images:
Why should it be added?: It will be more realistic in terms of acceleration and real life cars, and sound cooler.

Guys, you have to remember that this is a truck simulator. Just the car, and a pickup/box truck will be just fine. The devs can take the AI truck model if they want and make it more detailed so they don't have to model another truck.
-
@FernandoCR No, that's too much. Just the current car, and a cargo van/pickup truck is enough.
-
But if people use profiles with tons of money cheated in, the money has no value anymore and everyone would be able to buy a truck in no time. Maybe in the future we would have to start a new profile within MP, and the mod will check for cheating?
-
If we're going to have a car in a truck simulator, we definitely need some kind of truck. Let's be practical! I was thinking a heavy duty pickup truck that we can drive to any company and pickup a load, either a small pickup-sized trailer or something to put in the back. The other option would be a box truck, like a U-haul truck.
Also, it's weird having a European car in ATS, and pickups are common in the US.
Thoughts/other ideas?

- What do you like about Los Angeles?
- Everything, pretty much
- What do you dislike?
- The unrealistically small amount of traffic and the lag, in SP or MP
- How do other players behave?
- OK, I guess. But one night I was driving down the Interstate 5 southbound near the Northern Blvd exit and a wrong way driver smashed into me and totaled my truck.
- What can other players do to improve the city?
- Make it their home so it can have more traffic to be more realistic.
-
I was having a nice drive along Interstate 5 this evening, but out of nowhere, this guy comes barreling up head on on the wrong side of the FREEWAY giving us no time to respond. At least 3 trucks were totaled in this incident, including mine. Here is video proof:
I know I was speeding, but my truck would've been totaled all the same if I had been driving 55.

Ok, but is this server lag?

It's absoutely horrific how the Skoda averages 10 mpg at best, cruising at a normal speed on the freeway. It should be closer to 30 in my opinion, as it feels unrealistic to fill up with dozens of gallons of gas for hundreds of dollars at every gas station in a small sedan like this.
