This would be pretty cool. Even if you could despawn your truck to look at someone further than the allowed distance then when you spawn your truck back in then it would go back to this issue. It might be possible to allow it only in NCZ but this would probably be hard to do and take a while.

If you do not have your own truck

 

Solution 1)

Go to My Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 and find config.cfg file and:

Change uset g_console to 1

Change uset g_developer to 1

 

Launch ETS2MP and select your MP profile and when you don't have any cargo/job, press the ` button which will open the console and type g_force_economy_reset 1 and press ENTER. Then go back to profile screen and select the profile again and a message saying "Game Change detected" should appear which means it worked. Now once you're in, you want to open the console again and type in g_force_economy_reset 0. After that, just play and your jobs should be reset. If it occurs again, just complete the whole process again.

 

If you have your own truck

 

Solution 1)

Find a parking space and go to sleep (advances time by 8 hours in Singleplayer)

 

Solution 2)

Quick travel to one of your garages

 

Solution 3)

Go to sleep or call SOS

 

Solution 4)

Visit the individual companies and see if they have any jobs (drive over the green icon at the entrance of each company)

Save game profiles work the best at the moment You can find your game saves in your Documents/ Euro Truck Simulator 2/ Profiles - The there will be a folder or multiple folders (depending on the number of profiles you created) choose one and send it to your buddy. This will give you both the same jobs for one time. Unfortuneately you will have to do this each time you want to convoy together. But soon the JobSync Tool will be available

[Loading on the road.]

Although this would be useful, I am not sure what they can do about such a thing. If admins could still force f7 people then they could f7 people before a kick / ban to prevent users loading in the road. But this wouldn't solve the issue. It may reduce the number or players spawning in the road but there is not much that can be done to prevent users from spawning in the road. I have had experiences like this and I am not saying this is a bad idea. But there really isn't allot that can be done. +1

maybe the MP creators could do what the SP game does with a change in mods. The SP comes up with a popup saying that the game has changed, previous job cancelled for free, and the player is teleported to their home garage. Then they auto spawn in an NCZ every time and makes the game a little more enjoyable for all road users.

This would still be an issue for autosaves though? Unless they work out a way to load autosaves at a garage too. But then what would the point be in autosaves? + It would take much longer to actually join the server.

[Fix for Ghost Driving]

Although this would be a great idea, having the setting set to default for times wouldn't work. Multiplayer don't write the SCS game and therefore they are not able to edit the game engine in this sort of way. Warning systems in chat or popups on screen could work if this helps. But I am not sure how they will link this to whether a user has lights on or not.

[Ingame report removal]

This is a very good idea! I have been kicked for a false report before because it was from quite a while earlier. This would also free up the admins time - allowing them to respond to other/ more recent reports sooner. +1

[Server Shutdown/Restart Timer]

I +1 this idea because in lasts nights ETR convoy it caused major issues when people reloaded their game. If we had a warning, even a 2 minute warning would help massively. We would have time to pull the convoy over or arrange a safer place to reload a game. Rather than have utter chaos as everyone rejoins or having everyone in the wrong place.

 

Not saying that we need a 2 day warning and a specific time and description, But just as Boydy said, enough time to log out safely. This would help all drivers and not just drivers from a convoy

[Game crash when leaving game]

My game crashes when I exit it and it doesn't actually close safely. I get as far as clicking the ok button when leaving the game and it crashes.

This does not happen with SP. I also have to load the game in administrator mode otherwise it loads SP. 

If anyone else experiences this issue let me know!

Or your steam game has auto-updated to an unsupported version. If you access steam and switch off auto-update then open big picture mode. Find your steam game ets2 and go into beta version. This will need to be set to the valid beta for multiplayer mod.

Sorry if this was mis-understood, I can see where you can think i insulted you but i have to be 100% honest here.. I wasn't.

And back to the 'blocking' as you called it. I was stopped waiting for the truck next to me moved. I don't know whether you saw but i was squashed into a wall by another person, Name escapes me. I don't call that blocking I call it giving room and being polite.. But ok.

I also have other bans on my profile that are misunderstood (mainly a bit of missed story line if that's what it is called). Like intentional disrespectful driving. This was me being rammed again. I was picked on. Sorry but i must be doing something wrong to be making awkward mistakes. And Wrong way. Has been posted on here before. I was pushed off the wrong ramp. I was banned. Why I should be unbanned - How exactly was I offending you? I was just making my point of how I was moving at the time of the kick. I was being blocked by someone overtaking. I stopped to let them move. They didn't. I started moving and got round the corner (STILL MOVING) when you came along and said i was afk/ blocking. I mean, Come on. The thing i said in chat was not insulting an admin. I may have used a word that you don't like but it wasn't insulting you. That should have been a warning kick if anything. Not a permanent ban!

I was driving down the slip ramp heading into Luxembourg when a trucker with no trailer (couldn't get his name) undertook me forcing me to continue past the slip road. I then took  the slip road opposite that headed onto the motorway making sure that i was not in the way of any trucks. I was then BANNED without even question of what happened.
