  1. Can't wait for this year's event! I'm sure it will be a great blast as it has been in previous years.

Seems such a long time ago since I was helping to plan the first ever H64 and the success of that event was astonishing, and I'm sure this years event will be bigger and better!

  2. I can see where you're coming from but there are some flaws in your suggestion.

Firstly, it will be hard to determine whether a car is in a convoy or if it is just driving in a lot of traffic. This means that invalid bans would be given out unnecessarily which is unfair on the wrongly banned player. If the player is driving in traffic (against your proposed rule), the player could get reported/banned and claim that the traffic they were driving in was in fact a convoy and there would be no way to prove otherwise.

Secondly, don't forget there are multiple other servers where cars are not allowed. You can easily go on server EU#1 where you will not be 'attacked' and rammed.

    So, -1.

  3. Not a bad suggestion, actually.

It would definitely be helpful in overtaking on the C-D road, even though you are not meant to overtake there either way.

But nontheless, a good suggestion. +1

  4. Yes, I do think this should be added.

People can change a lot since they got their ban(s). They may have realised that they shouldn't really do this and then play the game properly as I myself have done as I am in this exact situation.

I do believe people should have a second chance as people can change and I believe a year after not having a ban should prove this.

A year is a very long time and people can easily change their ways in that large amount of time. I really do hope the CM/PM or whoever looks at this realises this.

    +1 from me.

  5. You can also use www.ets2map.com to look and keep track of your friend, too!

All you need to do is go to www.ets2map.com and then get their TruckersMP ID by getting their Steam64ID and then pasting it into the search bar on the www.truckersmp.com website.

Once you have found their TMP Profile, look at the URL Bar and copy the few digits at the end of the URL

Then go to www.ets2map.com/follow/******* (the asterisks represent their TMP ID) and then they should show up with their location on the map! Just make sure they are in game and logged on to the servers or this will not work.

  6. The winter mod is currently not available.

I'm pretty sure the TMP team will release a Winter mod like what they have done in previous years closer to Christmas. But until then, there isn't much you can do.

  7. I don't really see the point in this. It is just extra work for the developers on top of what they have to do with TMP already and their lives outside of TMP.

Also, that's what garages are for.

  8. I has this issue with my pc a couple of weeks ago. I have a very good pc with a decent graphics card but I was getting really bad FPS one day for some reason.

The problem I had was that I had put the HDMI cable into the motherboard and not the actual graphics card itself (stupid, I know) and this made the game run really slow. So after a few hours of troubleshooting, I discovered this was the issue and my game worked perfect.

So just make sure that your HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU. :)

  9. Bad idea, in my opinion.

The reason why I think this is because people will just carry on abusing the rules of TMP and can get away with it if they have the funds to pay for an unban. This sort of eliminates the use for the rules.

Also, this is a free mod and if TMP are making money off the back of it, I'm sure there is a chance SCS could file a lawsuit.

(Yes, I am using an old chair for my H-Shifter..)

I have made a few changes to my setup since I last posted it on this thread all the way back in February, Back then I only had a Logitech DFGT, that was an absolutely fantastic wheel and it really did serve me well throughout the year and a half that I had it. @DJ Dynamic is now the proud new owner of it. As a result of this, I upgraded to a Logitech G27 which I absolutely love. It is such a step up from my old wheel. I have also upgraded my graphics card from an MSI GTX 750Ti to an MSI GTX 970 which does get me a much better FPS in Rotterdam :D. I've also changed my gaming audio from a Turtle Beach one to a really good pair of headphones and a radio microphone because I do a lot of radio presenting over at TruckersFM so I needed a good microphone and I couldn't really get a good enough quality mic on a headset so I decided to buy the mic separately. I have also moved my PC from under my desk to the side of my desk as the pedals for my new wheel are huge and need a lot more room than what the DFGT ones did as this one now has a clutch.

  11. +1.

I would definitely like to see this one added as it can be come very irritating and also very tedious if you have the EXACT same person posting the EXACT same message.

Like I'm sure after the first message, people will have decided whether they wanna join your company or not, right?

And I'm so so sure that if VTC managers are posting messages constantly, it may turn people away from said VTC due to the constant spam.

Also, I've noticed that they have spreaded to the Calais - Duisburg road too in recent days as the road has become noticeably more popular.
