You can upgrade your ETS2 using Steam.
Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Click properties.
Click on the tab "Betas"
Click on the dropdown and choose "temporary_1_38 - ...."
Wait until Steam has downloaded the upgraded files. After downloading, you can start TruckersMP as usual.
