Regarding your question on weather its a generic rumble or you actually hear other trucks, you DO actually hear them & it uses your sound settings ( what you set the sliders to ) which is actually pretty impressive!

I wasn't going to but decided out of curiosity to as it got me thinking.....Pretty sure it works that way as I have turbo sound muted so don't hear it on others trucks! I'm a simple guy, this is the sound i like from an engin ( the clatter of pistons waking up, 20 sec if you want to hear the starter getting a workout ) Warning she's loud if you use headphones!

Are engine sounds synchronized over multiplayer or do we just hear a generic "rumble" from each truck that passes?

I imagine things like engine braking and what not aren't sync'd, would seem like a bit of added effort for something you'd probably not even notice anyway. I recently swapped an engine out of the Mack for one out of the Kenworth and wondered if people actually hear the Kenworth or the Mack on their end, or just a generic truck sound like with AI traffic

Save editing question:
Is it allowed to swap a vanilla trucks engine sound with another vanilla trucks engine sound? If that's even possible.
e.g; Putting the W900 engine sound bank on the Mack for example

Has something changed with skins in 1.38/1.39?
I used to have a DSV skin for singleplayer, and for the life of me I can't get it working now, anyone got any ideas?
