How to quickly uninstall or install DLC files of ETS2 or ATS

Hello everyone!

 

When you want to uninstall DLC file that you don't want to play. Uninstall or install usually takes 2-5 minutes.

This is a very troublesome thing for some users whose computer GPU or CPU  is very small.

 

This method may help you:

 

First, you need to find the file directory of Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator

It's usually here: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2 (Or American Truck Simulator)

 

Next, you can find files like this, ".SCS" format 

Like this:

 

Finally, find the DLC file you don't need and change ".scs" to ".scsbk"

Like this:

 

If you want to install the DLC file,just change ".scsbk" back to ".scs".

 

This makes it easier to uninstall and install DLC files.   (for users with low PC configuration)
