Promods tmp issue

Ok so i updated to 1.38 yesterday, changed it from being on my c drive to d drive, i also set up truckersmp on d drive now.
Today ive been on single player with promods but everytime i try and load truckersmp promods through my trucksbook I get errors saying promods files are missing.
All the promods files are in my mod folder so ive no clue how to fix it

Hello @DavAW,

 

this is because TruckersMP only registers it on your C Drive so u need to have everything on your C Drive for TruckersMP to register everything correctly and also find your ProMods files.

This can not be changed to any different Pathway, this means if u would love to move your Ets2 Documents part to D Drive via Homedir it will only work on Singleplayer but not on TruckersMP because at the current moment u can not change any File path set for TruckersMP to look somewhere else for ProMods or your Ets2 Mod Folder. 

 

Also be aware to use the newest ProMods Version 2.50 for TruckersMP, here is also a list of the current Supported Mods by TMP

I guess ill have to leave a folder with just promods init on my c drive then as ive already moved every other files to my d drive

If your euro truck documents are in d drive and you want to play promods, you should use link shell extention. Its easy to use. Follow these  steps;

 

1- Install link shell extention

2- Right click on ets2 document folder "Euro Truck Simulator 2" and select Pick Link Source

3- go to "C:/Users/user name/Document/ " path press right click

4- Select Drop as and choose Symbolic Link Clone

Finished. Now Tmp can see all promods content and you can play.
