Older Generation Trucks

This is just a hypothetical post I have no idea what plans SCS may or may not have for the future but with all the trucks available in game if SCS were to implement older generation trucks into ETS2 what models would you like to see? Personally l would love to see the Scania 164 or 143 brought in officially

Hey!

I'd be also welcome to see old(er) trucks from companies that're already in-game, to give an example, like you, I would like to drive with an old Volvo F(10-13) series, just for the feeling, and It'd be fun too.
And I'd love to see some other type of trucks incl. a little bit smaller 'box trucks' as well.

I don't think they will ever implement old models considering that they are already behind the modern ones (new MB, Iveco, Man and Volvo). Although in case they did it would be great to have the Scania 140 super with its V8 engine, the first of the brand.

Where it all began, it would be great to add the 140 but it would have to have an aggresive V8 engine sound in my opinion

I would love to see older models on ETS i doubt they would ever do it but i feel a "Vintage pack" would be a best seller

That's probably why there's mod support and modders, it's unlikely that SCS will ever add trucks that went out of production 2 or 3 decades ago, although some are still being operated, I think it's just not really priority, they want to keep it as recent as possible, while cooperating with manufactures, when licencing new truck models.

We already have plenty of models, actually, most of them, in the game, that are either outdated, or completely out of production.

 

I would like to see new trucks and updated models in the game, including:

Iveco Stralis XP (maybe NP too)

Iveco S-way

DAF CF

Mercedes-Benz New Actros (updated 2018-present version)

MAN TGS

MAN TGX EfficientLine 3

Volvo FM

Volvo  FH/FH16 (updated version with Euro 6 engines)

Scania G-series

I'll admit... completely forgot about the ERF they were a great work truck and deserve more recognition

Absolutely love the older Scanias too. Doubt they'll ever be open to the idea of bringing older trucks into the game though.
