Wrong mod location... how run TMP Launcher?

Hey,

I got same problem like user in this post, but installed ProMods 2.46 (v1.37) and set -homedir for mods. How I run TruckersMP Launcher?

I believe that you need to have it in /Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod

 

I have created a shortcut from that directory, to a place on my G: Drive, so it doesn't take up space.

Hi,

 

So the problem that the person had was the fact that he was using a different version of ProMods. For ProMods (2.46) on Multiplayer (1.37) you just launch TMP as normal. Make sure that you have the DEF file aswell as this is a common problem. 

 

I would also suggest re-installing it.

Yes i know he's got new ProMods version for game v1.38 which doesn't works on TMP, but how I can run TMP Promods server if I am set -homedir  for mods on Steam? Error say "one or more required files of the ProMods map modification could not be found".

 

Now I got installed: def file with special transport + ProMods + BalkanProject + Addons (cabin, trailers & company & eastwest)

You must download Middle East addon. I had the same problem.

But how? Are u use LinkShellExtension?

 

I created normal on Windows "mod" folder shortcut which is on G: drive too and then paste it in "/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder and still doesn't works. Then try with folder "Euro Truck Simulator 2" from G: drive and doesn't works too.

Ok solved problem. Use LinkShellExtension then pick link source from G: drive folder "mod" and drop as junction
to "/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/" folder. Works now.

 

Hope in future TMP launcher got option for it or someone find better solution.
