What happen to the AI traffic?

Its been a while and AI traffic on truckersmp never became a thing, its something that would bring players to the servers since it wouldn't be always empty roads.

Hello there!

 

The project to add AI traffic was in the list to be implemented on our servers. But it is a difficult job since SCS Software constantly modifies AI traffic, which makes it impossible to apply it. In addition, there are other projects in mind to implement before traffic (The idea was not discarded, but it will not be done in a short or medium time).

Also TruckersMP released a knowledge article in January explaining why this hasn't been added yet.

Another reason, is that they only have 1 developer who works on the client.

Recruiting devs is not as easy as opening a recruitment for support per say. Devs have lots of access to the server and need to make sure they bring the right person.
