It sleeps curled up into a ball to protect itself from any other predators who wishes to strike while it sleeps. It's uncommon for the Pink Ribboned snake to sleep but in the times of server authentication it refuels and recharges its batteries to prepare for the dangers out there known as Skodas and other potential dangers on the Calais to Duisburg road.
