ETS2 Screen Recorder Suggestions

Hey everyone!

 

I am interested in making a video of TruckersMP and I am using in game footage. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on a good screen recorder for ETS2/MP. I tried Loom, but it comes out very laggy.

Here are some of the most common recorders:

GeForce Experience (Exclusive for Nvidia GPU's)

Medal.tv

OBS Studio

Windows 10 DVR

(Found them actually here. You can find a tutorial to all of them inside of the article; I don't want to completly copy it.)

I can really recommend you to use OBS, but it could lag aswell, based on your PC, and you have to configure it correctly. So it takes some time to configure it, but does his job pretty well.

 

Medal.tv

I looked into Medal.tv and I like this one aswell, especially because you just have to press "F8" ingame to save a clip (you can even upload them directly to save some diskspace!)

 

Xbox Game Bar

You could try "Xbox Game Bar" aswell. There you can simply record videos with a medium quality, with no lags!

I personally use GeForce Experience since i can directly upload to youtube and it only records after i

pressed a certain button. This means it won't affect your performance and won't really cause space issues.

I recommend Medal.tv; it starts automatically when you start your PC, you can set a hotkey to record X amount of seconds before and can either set it to automatically upload so it doesn't take any disk space, or you can trim it down and upload it manually. Also it doesn't seem to effect my FPS at all when recording on max settings.

 

Very convenient as everything you need is in one piece of software. 100% would recommend.

Good morning,

I can definitely recommend the nVidia shadowplay for short videos. Briefly press the hotkey and the last 2 minutes are saved.
