TruckersMP won't start

DCarneiroHF

Question

Hi all

So been watching and following the solutions on several topics.

And unfortunately none of them solved my problem.

Reinstalled ETS2 twice, reinstalled TruckersMP more than enough times.

Done all the steps stated in several topics already closed even without solution.

At the moment all i have is no patience.

Please don't ask for videos or pictures.

You click on the launcher icon and nothing ( NOTHING) happens, no not even in the background.

And yes I've tried what you are thinking and please no guesses, if you are not a TruckersMP developer please don't reply.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Have you tried to reinstall TruckersMP this way, by deleting all the files?

Here is how to properly do it:

Open your Windows Search and search for %programdata%. It should find a folder called %programdata% - open that folder.

Once you opened that folder, try to find the folder TruckersMP and delete it.

Open your documents and delete the folder(s) ETS2MP / ATSMP

Once you have done that, open your windows control panel and head over to programs and features. Once you are in there, delete the TruckersMP Launcher.

After that head over to our download page and download the Launcher.

Once the launcher is downloaded, run it as Administrator and follow the instructions. Please make sure to enter the correct ETS 2 / ATS path(s)!

Let me know if this fixes your issue.

You can read more information about reinstalling TruckersMP here.

Kind Regards

Hello @DCarneiroHF,

Thank you for using the forum to ask for any possible queries you may have.

The issue you are getting might be due to your antivirus blocking the connection hence unable to even open up the launcher. Therefore, could you please deactivate your antivirus temporarily (whichever one you are using) and make ETS2 an exception on your firewall as normally this should fix the issue, but if it does not, then deactivate your antivirus temporarily until you are able to launch TruckersMP.

I hope you understand, and I look forward in your response in order to put this topic in the correct place of the forum so it is in an organised manner.

I look forward in your response(:

Best Regards,
