PILOTinXPLANE Posted June 27, 2020 Share Posted June 27, 2020 Hi folks i have a one question, will truckermp add new car i will so much see the VW T5 in ,,PILOT'' livery it will be beatifull? please add this car beacuse only pilot car is skoda and if it appear it will give more fun and i will play ets more, i could do funniest convoy like on the front skoda then in the middle ,,piloting'' truck and finally on the back VW 5 (skoda and VW will be in ,,PILOT'' livery <3). In fact, there is already multiple cars like the Lamborghini, however, I have only seen high Upper Staffs using that car. Also, keep in mind that we're in a Truck Simulator. Imagine TruckersMP releasing a new car now, everyone would only be driving inside of that new car and the road is gonna be a mess which is for sure not the purpose of the game anymore. It'd be fun if TMP would add new car especially that VW, with the same reason because its for convoy-uses, since the Special Transport delivery currently isnt supported on the servers, so we can take advantage of the VW escort to have the similar feels and roleplaying it with friends. But its just a suggestion, if it will be accepted anytime soon it would be great, but if not, the current skoda car is enough anyways, however its a trucking game and Im quite sure we play with the truck most of the time than the car Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mabataki Posted June 29, 2020 Share Posted June 29, 2020 The game itself is called "EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR 2" and not "EURO AUTO SIMULATOR 2" so with this one we just have to give it more love and update to improve it; Furthermore, we must remember that the mere fact of designing, generating and finishing a vehicle from scratch is complex; and add the fact that 1.38 and more are coming; developers don't have a lot of time to think about more small vehicles. Now if we see it from another point, of course it would be great to have another car in addition to the skoda, but the topic would be the use and what it would be used for, perhaps it can be an official use car of the TMP team as in its beginning it was the skoda; or perhaps only in the use of convoys of over a certain number of participants. Moritaka Posted June 29, 2020 Share Posted June 29, 2020 Well honestly I don't think that very close in time we will have a new car, since with the latest changes to the sound engine and also other issues, the development division is quite full with things to do; besides that it is quite complex to design a car from scratch. Besides that with the current Scout we are quite well, only that some important improvements must be made, it is easier to update and improve the current one than to make one from of nothing. Including the scout is not necessary but a good feature to play for a while with the car like in Convoys. I don't like that there are more cars, because it's an truck simulator and no car simulator.
