Ping and reconnection

Recommended Posts

Name: Adding a reconnect button and higher time limit with ping.

Desc: There should be a reconnect button if someone gets kicked for unreliable connection or high ping instead of alt +f4 and then opening the launcher once again. By higher time limit ping I mean, some people who reside in the Middle East or areas like China, India, Pakistan, may have ping spikes. The game should give the player 2 minutes for the ping to come back down again.

Why should it be added: A reconnect button; first of all, if for example a person gets in a deadly crash, they f7 and then they enter a populated area. The demand for internet will be suddenly high and sometimes the connection breaks. A person would have to leave the game, open the launcher again, load the whole entire game again. It would just be easier for a reconnect button back to the game instead of doing that whole procedure. 50% of the players have this issue and it can be VERY annoying. Second suggestion, by ping time limit. Some people have lower internet speeds or they reside far from France. They don't join other dedicated servers because the servers are not populated. Anyways, ping can spike sometimes and go up to 1000 or in some scenarios even 2500. But this is just a spike and lasts for 60 seconds. The game would then kick the player after 10 seconds, and the average ping would not come back down. Then the player has to rejoin back again. Instead of that, why not let the ping come back down under 120 seconds, if the ping is above the average limit 600ms, then the player will get kicked. This suggestion is there if the reconnect button suggestion is revoked. There is no need for the second suggestion if the first suggestion is approved.
