Floating Lone Star

I recently purchased the Inter. Lone Star and upon spawning the truck at my garage in Sacramento I ran into an issue. It spawned a few feet off the ground, fell, took some damage, but didn't fall all the way to the ground. It landed on some sort of invisible surface and floats there unable to move. The wheels spin but don't grab anything. It is essentially floating. I tried going to the service repair but when I spawn there it does the same thing. Cannot drive the truck. Would appreciate some ideas on how to fix this?

More info: Windows, 64 bit. Occurs in TruckersMP and single-player. No other mods installed.

I will try to help you here.

 

I suggest to try to spawn your vehicle in Single player using the freecam, hope it will help.

 

How to enable freecam and use it?

 

Please follow these steps and it should work:

 

Step 1: Exit the game if it's running

Step 2: Navigate to Documents->American Truck Simulator

Step 3: Open config.cfg file with notepad (Right click, Open with Notepad)

Step 4: In the config.cfg file search for "console" with Ctrl+F and rewrite the value "0" to "1"

Step 4: Search for "developer" and rewrite the "0" to "1"

Step 5: Save the file, and start the game

Step 6: On your keybord while in-game, press "0" key and freecam should work. You can move with the nunpad keys. Then, go to a location where you want to teleport and press "F9" when close to the ground (not too close because if you are too close your truck will spawn in the ground)

 

There you go!
