TheCanadianTrucker
The only time I'll flash my high beams is to signal I'm yielding for another driver. For example: if I'm in a truck at a red light and there's a Skoda in the oncoming lane signalling to turn left, I would give a quick flash of my highbeams when the light goes green to indicate he could turn first. Guest
In my opinion, it's a way for players to say hello to you
Chris Kodiak
A little side information for people that might not know, this feature also exist in ETS2 Single player as well in ATS Single player. By flashing the high beams to oncoming traffic, they will flash back as a greeting, basically. Here's a short video to this: As you might see in the video, the yellowish car, the blue bus and the turquoise truck was flashing back with their high beams. Imo it is for me a greeting, but is contextual and depends on the situation, if I am stand at a 4-way and yielding someone, or if I'm behind someone and whatsoever
frost2921
In my opinion its their way to tell you that your highbeams are on and that you should turn them off to stop blinding everyone.(In singleplayer)
