[solved] how to report a player

ariodante251

Question

Ciao,

ho appena iniziato a giocare in multiplayer,

Apparently, you'll need to get the TruckersMP ID of the player. You can do so in 3 ways: From spawning logs, from /pinfo command, or from the in-game reporting system.

Spawning logs are usually located in <Location to your Documents folder>\ETS2MP\logs\spawning_log<date of the incident in YYYY.MM.DD format>.log - after you open the file, you can use editor's search function to locate the player with the specific in-game ID. You can use your evidence video to get the part of the name you're looking for.

/pinfo command requires you to provide in-game ID of the player you're looking for as the only parameter. It returns the information about selected player.

In-game reporting system can be also used as graphical /pinfo - when you press "Report" on the nearby player list while someone's selected, you'll get similar info as one given by /pinfo command.

On the same line, where you found the nickname of the player along with in-game ID in the log you'll see the  TMPID parameter. This is the ID you're looking for. If you get a warning that the ID is too low, double check the TMPID parameter with the ID you've typed in the first textbox in the new report form. The ID between the parentheses is the in-game ID.

An example line you can find in spawning log file:

[16:51:29] Spawning GameTruck (Playername(838) - TMPID: 9999999 - SteamID64: 99999999999999999 - Tag: VTCname) Additional data:
[16:51:29] Spawning GameTrailer (Playername(838) - TMPID: 9999999 - SteamID64: 99999999999999999 - Tag: VTCname) Additional data:

Number highlighted in yellow is what you need for the report - a unique ID of the player.

Other highlighted text will help you locate the player in the log file, because that is what you can see on your screen while in-game.
