Having Bad Drivers In Multiplayer Is Nothing New. Specialy Some Car Drivers.

1.Always Turn On Your Screen Recorder While Playing Multiplayer.

2.Assigned A Quick Save Button In Game Options And Press It To Save The Game While Driving. In Case Of Trouble Load Quick Save

The rule breaking is of course against the rules, I’d suggest loading a recent autosave and recording and reporting (As has already been mentioned above a couple times). That way you go without the damage, and the player that broke the rules can get punished.

I would like to add however (Both to OP and anyone else thinking it’s specifically “car drivers” causing issues) that many scouts aren’t necessarily bad, and it’s not really the cars issue but the people driving them. Put them back in a normal truck and I imagine most of the bad car drivers would still be pretty bad truck drivers. I do appreciate some of the scout’s physics aren’t entirely perfect but they’re a lot lot better than they used to be. Basically I would try avoid generalising “all scout cars are bad” etc, since it’s mainly just a minority of people driving them and not all of them, and not specifically the car itself causing the issues.

IIRC, this only is true for normal jobs. Autosaves however do not work with WOT jobs, meaning that the damage of the trailer will not be reverted.

@Joao Rodrigues Ah, that is true. Forgot about WOT jobs. I don’t think there’s a solution for this in that case, other than try stay away from busier areas to attempt to limit the chance of being hit by cars.

However the same could be said for any incident I suppose, anyone could crash in any vehicle be it truck or car, so the same crashing issue could be said for any player in any vehicle, rather than just cars alone.

a really frustrating situation is really annoying when it comes on the road and hits you.And this is much worse if it happens in wot mission because the trailer takes damage.

My suggestion is that use quick save from time to time as an insurance.Of course, driving like that will get banned eventually

I think truckers mp should implement  a feature that includes paying money to compensate the innocent driver.

In my opinion that for now ,multiplayer is no place for earning money, you can earn much enough money at single player. Its just if you ran into a situaion like this, its a waste of time and destruction of good mood.

Well, the multiplayer can be a place for earning money as well. No matter if you're playing in the single player or multiplayer you should always follow the road rules.
That's why they've implemented the speed limiter and harder punishments. It's called RoadToSimulation.

If you come across people ramming and trolling you, then it's the best to report them as they have no mean in driving on these servers.

ETS2MP is where I made the majority of the £280 million my profile has (admittedly, garages account for 95% or more of this), so it definitely is possible to make money. If you don't already, you should strongly consider driving on less densely populated routes to earn money; 99% of my deliveries are completed without any complication or damage, so don't say it's not possible; it's easy.

If you think about it a certain way, the fact that you were hit by a "skoda" may have happened also with a truck, now, not all car drivers are bad drivers nor skodas, now that they are "stigmatized" with that title is another matter; but if you look at it it's the same as if someone would have hit you with a truck; Also what they say here a lot is very useful, the use of a fast charge; but also keep the quick save handy and thus avoid problems in game loads; now if you like to use WOT you should avoid the busiest areas not to mention the C-D.

Well, the central theme is that it is not the vehicle that is to blame, but who is behind its command; In addition to that if you see a player who is breaking TMP laws, do not hesitate to report him on the website so that he can take the necessary actions against the reckless player. and as a recommendation it is good to have on hand the quick save and the fast load if one needs to use it, now with wot it only remains to get away from busy areas.

I think it's pretty well accepted that people who drive recklessly don't go unpunished, provided that a report is submitted to have them dealt with. The old but evergreen saying in football is that "the referee can't give what he doesn't see" and the very same thing is true for misconduct on the TMP servers.

There is however the very specific reference to the Scout car in this topic, with some feeling that the cars ruin the overall gameplay, and others being of the opinion that they're fine, with just some bad apples in the servers giving them a reputation that they don't deserve. I remember when the Scout cars just came out on TMP. They were everywhere, and for a brief time it felt like some cities had become Skoda Destruction Derby rings. The novelty has of course since worn off, and with the introduction of the caravans, they now have a genuine purpose within the game.

I think one of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to the scout cars is that they are easy to drive. This is anything but true. Keep in mind that they are functioning within the same parameters and physics engine as ETS2/ATS, which is a system that was made for bigger vehicles. To that end, they accelerate much faster than you'd expect; they lose traction incredibly quickly, and are prone to loss of control with not a tremendous input to the brakes. Couple these issues with the mindset of "it'll be fine it's just a car" and you very quickly find yourself in a lot of crashes with Scout cars.

Perhaps it's the model itself that causes problems. A nippy sedan, often favored by taxi drivers was perhaps too quick a vehicle for it's intended purpose — escorting and convoy management. There's therefor no need for a Scout car to be going that quickly, unless it has the TMP Police package on it.

There's also the issue of aesthetics when it comes to the Scout. Is a low-down sedan the best vehicle for convoy management? I would argue perhaps not. On the flip-side, it took a lot of work from the developers and designers for TMP to get the car shipped out, and I wouldn't suggest that we should be ungreatful for what we were given by them; it is a stunning model, whether you're fond of Skoda or not.

Perhaps in the distant future a different model will be considered. The Volkswagon Transporter might be a contender for ETS (as used in the SP heavy cargo convoys), while The Ford F-150 might be better in an American Setting. Again, this is by no stretch of the imagination required, but it may help to tackle some of the issues that are raised by that of the Scout Car of today, whereby crashing is an ongoing issue.

I don't have the answer to outright resolve the problems surrounding Scout cars, but I do feel there's plenty of options that can be explored. Until then, I'd just suggest (as others have already done) that you remain vigilant, and be prepared to take evidence to the reports section of the website. If we continue to do that, perhaps we'll send out the message that mishandling the cars will not go unpunished.

cars are used as weapons to cause damage and chaos.

guys who use a car without a caravan but a ping of nearly 300 are legit trolls

and those wo actually want to use them properly get punished by the system

While I sympathize with your situation, that trailer is not a caravan. It's a trailer, and the rules are quite unambiguous to that end:

Quote

§5.1 - Server Auto Kicks

[...]

Car with trailer - Attaching a trailer to your car (not including the caravan.)

[...]

I don't think this is a salient point of the overall topic, and I wouldn't suggest that the system is punishing you. It's an automated system that protects other users from potential hazards.

that trailer is actually a proper cartrailer ... i had to inflate it with scs parts otherwise you wont get it over to tmp ...

They're not allowed to act like that. Please don't fall into thinking that all car drivers are like that though, it's only a minority. Sometimes it may be a genuine accident. The cars are difficult to control, especially for kids who don't know how to drive irl. In my personal experience there are an equal amount of trolls driving trucks, if not more.

As others have said, record and report. I'd also recomend using a cheat profile on MP (e.g large amounts of money). You will get damage, either through accidents or trolls.
