Matt [] Truckers.FM
Hey, I actually suffer from a similar thing. What are your and your friend's PC specs - Moreover, what are your pings in game?
CoffeeEdition'
It may be from the weight of the loads, or we are getting wind like in GTA.

kultrex
1 hour ago, The*MASK** said: :((( It most likely has to do with the fact, that your friend is not using "External Contracts 90/Kmh limit" to haul cargo.
Truckers / 3D
Turn off the truck speed limit in Ets2 game settings, and the server speed limit is 110km / h Truckers_3D
Zoom01
I have a similar thing too. sometime am at 110 km/hr then a player over takes me and i wonder
Guest
It depends for a lot of things, it can be for lag, ping, your computer is baddest than his computer, the amount of player nearby, étc.
Davina
Depends on who is on inside versus outside of curves. Also 90 has a floating point part, so someone may be doing 90.1, another person 90.4. Weight of load will also be a factor.
dragonslayingmaster1000
It's very likely that lag causes that or cruise control slows you down with retarder on downhills but your friend doesn't have it on so they roll down the hill faster than you. SouthenLad
Most likely from weight of cargo however this could also be internet connection SouthernLad
OmSaL
It is normal to go with 90km/h if the cruise control is on in the settings section of the game. The same does not exceed the current 90km/h rate if you receive an External Contract load. Velo
It's quiet typical for one person to be slightly faster than another even if you are both doing the same speed. This can often be due to the type of truck and/or the load you have I believe
James
If you have the speed limiter on, then you are locked into 90km/h. If you turn it off then you can do 110km/h. If you have a heavier load, then that has a chance of them being able to overtake you. Hope this helps.
Guest
Turn off the truck speed limit in Ets2 game settings, and the server speed limit is just now 110km / h! Best Regards
Basdex
Hello The*MASK**, I think the problem can be in your internet connection, because if your friend got better internet than you ( lower ping ), he can drive smoothlier than you. Problem can be in load weight too. Have a nice day! Basdex
Moritaka
The reason he catches up with you can be partly if you're heavi enough to make your truck slower, and the truck doesn't have a load will do that he catches up with you more quickly, another reason is for the Ms or Ping that you have when you are in the Mp which can generate that you have some small delays and he can reach you and as a last possibility is that of the different accelerations, since comparing a Scout for example v/s a truck will be different for obvious reasons such as size, weight and motors and how the mechanics of these are made. Guest
your fps may be low, the ping may be high.
Smacky.
It's purely due to your computer specs, your game may be running slower therefore other players with higher end computers will have the FPS advantage over you. To rectify this you could always try turning your graphics down and this should help Thanks Smacky.
