Are engine sound mods for ATS MP allowed?

Looked over countless of similar questions but half the answers say yes, half say no. Is it possible to use a mod that changes the engine sound of a specific truck (say a Kenworth 900) and use it in multiplayer without getting banned or kicked?

To answer your question; No, you are not permitted to use engine sound mods on any of our servers.

 

We are very sorry to inform you that you will not be able to use the said mod on American Truck Simulator Multiplayer. We understand that this may be inconvenient to you, however, we hope that you can understand.
