Black screen at launch (ETS2 & ETS2MP)

Hi,

I have a problem with ETS2

I read lots of topics about this problem but I didn't find the solution.

 

When I launch the game,  I have a blackscreen when the sound is working without any problem.

By Ctrl-Alt-De --> Task Manager, I can see the normal screen during 1or 2 seconds and when I click on the icon to return in game, the black screen reappears.

 

I tried to : 

-update my card's drivers

-reinstall ETS2 and ETS2MP 

-delete the config.cfg file

-launch the game with DirectX 11 and all the options (even Safe Mode) without success.

-launch the game as an administrator

 

But it didn't work. 

 

So I'm looking for a solution. 

PS: Sorry for my quite chaotic english.

Try the following solutions:

 

solution 1

open the config.cfg file in the My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder with a notebook. uset r_device Change the value of "GL" to uset r_device "DX11".

İf the problem is not solved backup and delete My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/config.cfg

 

solution 2

go to your Steam library.

Click Play on Euro Truck Simulator 2.

On the grey window, choose "Launch with OpenGL".

Start free-roaming in singleplayer, and when the map loaded, you can exit from the game.

Start TruckersMP.

 

solution 3

runs out of memory (RAM)

Close programs running in the background.

No, this probem exists for both ETS2 and ETS2MP

are you using Windows 10 or Windows 7? If Windows 7, take a look at this topic:

(It is not fatal error, but it can help you)

 

2) Like Taranis asked, is this problem happening only in singleplayer or only in multiplayer?
