why use cars in a truck simulator?

hi, I wonder why authorize the use of cars in a truck simulator?

since most car drivers use them only to make a mess while driving.

more than once I lost the delivery or suffered serious damage to my truck because of unruly car drivers.

being that I do not use tricks to make my company profit, for me it is a big loss a trip that has not been successful due to the fault of those who do it on purpose to damage you.

if possible I would ask the car drivers for more checks by the admin, or I would remove the cars directly from the game.

Actually cars don't make a mess in the route because of its small size and unfortunately the trucks make the most of the messes because of the big size of it.also there's an other server without cars so u can play on it . 
and in my opinion the cars add a taste in this game and give a realistic view for the ets2 multiplayer

Definetly, the pure truth. And i'd like to add that not cars are guilty of everyones crashes, but drivers. That's why we have huge amount of high professionals in Game Moderation team.

People need change sometimes. I also like to drive skoda sometimes. It feels free and fast. Also following rules are harder while driving skoda and that makes higher fun

Passenger vehicles were authorized for usage as pilots in convoys.
Nowadays, they can also be used to earn money by hauling caravan trailers.
 

In general, their appearance improves realism in road traffic.

I guess it is because people want change sometimes, so they drive the Skoda instead of a truck. 

There are a lot of trolls in them too, which only drives the Skoda. I don't like those drivers, as they can usually cause a mess on the C-D road. They can be really reckless and they overtake a lot, which often causes a crash. 

 

If you want to avoid the cars, I'd suggest playing on the ProMods server if you have ProMods. The drivers there are more serious drivers, so there's less cars on the road

It's to drive in a car now and again since I feel nimble and just adds a different perspective which is too my liking. I get it that sometimes cars can be the ones to make accidents when someone turns too far since the acceleration and turning circle does take some time to get use to.

I totally agree with the inappropriate overtaking, especially around corners too since it's a pain in the backside to try and not get hit as they may swing into you or vice versa by accident.

I hate when the Skoda drivers overtake in corners, especially when they have wintermod. The cars should have more grip with wintermod, because they can be really dangerous now.

There should be no change or whatever you say its a trucksim Game if you want a car there's many other games where you can use a car this is purely a trucking game and a simulation there's absolutely no need for a car there is no arguing about it its the truth all scout cars do is cause trouble/hassle/crashes/reckless driving there has never been a situation where a car drives properly its normally causing collisions

IMO the problem with cars is that many people get them and seem to forget that the game is a truck simulator and not a new GTA version. But like others have said, this is not the vehicle's fault, it's each player's fault and we have the means to fight those who are just messing with others. My latest reports have been like 50/50 truck and car drivers. Only difference is that I find a lot more players with trucks than with cars, that's why whenever I see a car approaching, I get immediately on high alert. Trolls will use whatever vehicle they want, but they seem to have a preference for cars. It's probably not doable, but it would be nice if cars could be made so in case of a collision against a truck, the damage would be huge for the car and almost unnoticeable for the truck. IRL, a car hits a 20 tons truck and it's the car that bounces completely wrecked, not the other way around.

The main purpose of cars is used by convoy pilots and game moderators. However, there is no limitation in the rules of TMP about driving skoda, so please respect others opinions. If you dont like the skoda, dont use it or if a skoda do something wrong, report it. However if there is even one person is having fun by using skoda, thats why it should not be removed.

Basically, you are right but its a fact, that most of the people, who are actually using cars, tend to cause trouble and are less committed to follow the rules or even drive like a normal person would. Also since cars are smaller then trucks and also faster, people tend to do risky maneuvers, which also cause many collisions especially in regions with high density like Duisburg - Calais.

I agree that cars shouldnt be allowed in the game unless its for the admins to use however not *all* the cars are reckless and trolls some do drive nicely, however sadly the majority of the drivers in cars use them to troll.

The car for TruckersMP was quite time consuming and impossible to remove, the cars do not cause problems. If you have problems with players trolling you, just report.

Only problem is when the accident happened they don't stop they think car is small and they're trying passing around accident area but that didn't work.

The cars alone are not the problem, the problem with them is that they are used for trolling. One should think about limiting them. Not necessarily only for team members, but at least only for players who have no active bans or similar.

Agreed on blaming people not tools (trucks and cars). It is all about how you drive and what mindset you have. In my eyes report system works well on filtering out the offenders being that car driver or truck.

And interesting I file lot more reports due to Truck drivers than cars drivers.

Cars bring a different aspect to the game and enable people to roleplay, for example like escorting. 
Not ALL car drivers are trolls, and I'm pretty sure there is a server you can play on with NO cars.

When  you get trolled by a car, create a report either ingame or on the web and they will soon pay for their actions is necessary.

Removing cars, won't solve the issue of trolls, as they will just use trucks instead.

I could care less about the cars in this game.  I bought one and im not impressed....they handle like pure garbage.

 

Heres the thing.....most people so far thats driving these cars (this is only from my short perspective)  are only out to troll the big rig drivers.  Most of the time i see them driving like complete fools....and theyre doing it on purpose, its really that obvious.

 

Theres been a few times...that these folks pick spots to park in the middle of the road to purposely block the road.  I am familiar with most of these spots now.  Ive decided to just do a good ole side swipe on their cars and continue on my way....without reporting.  I actually have a really good laugh about it because the aholes doing it are flaming me on the cb.  They block the road to get laughs....then get mad when their plan fails....classic.

 

I say let them continue their bad driving.  Internet trolls being owned with their medicine is the biggest win in any game.

 

Oh, and by the way.....i get the flames...but ive yet to be reported....yea fancy that.

Cars themselves aren't the issue, it is the people that drive the vehicle. There are reckless drivers in trucks too. Cars were designed as a police car originally, and then was released to the public as a pilot car to help guide convoys. I feel like some people mis-use the cars but you shouldn't have to punish the many for the few people that abuse the car.

Im not blaming cars...the OP did.  What problem do you want solved......bad driving trolls?  Youll never solve that issue.  Theyll always be here...you ban a few....new ones replace them.

I dont report because its wasting my valuable time.  Ive found a way to entertain myself,  give them a taste of what theyre doing, and not wasting time.  Dont give me the "youre contributing to the probem" crap because its not.

Again, it must be working....no reports have been filed on me....no complaints....at all.  The only people that are angry are the trolls...and im sure it because they threw their drink across the room.

This is my way of dealing with it.

 

As whats been repeated here many many times already....its not the vehicle....its the moron behind the wheel.  I dont have any issues with good drivers and none have any with me.
