James
Good morning, Happy New Year! Do you prefer driving in third person, or first person? (outside the cab / inside). As i've seen alot of people on Youtube/twitch driving in different camera modes. Let me know!
Lukavsky TMP
Hello, I prefer just first person camera because it's realistic and you can learn about traffic better then third person camera. Leon Baker
Greetings Since that's a simulation game, I prefer driving in first person camera but sometimes, when there is a crash ahead or something similar, I am changing my camera to third person to see better what is going on to take the appropriate actions. I would like to note that it's not really safe to drive in third person camera, especially in high population area, especially when your driving skills are not that good because it's easy to crash into someone in a turn or something similar. About other cameras, I usually use the one which shows the side of the truck/trailer. That helps to see what is going on behind or to see the name of a player who just passed me but doing that often is dangerous as well as you may crash to the truck ahead. Lukassrs
Hello! I am driving in the inside view as usual, since this is a simulation. I only change to the outside view if there is an accident or something similar in front of me. Furthermore I sometimes change to the outside view in busy cities like Duisburg. Greetings Lukas
Space Night
I travel in first person view with occasional drive by shots with 8 cam when streaming, however use 8 cam ONLY WHEN TRAFFIC IS LIGHT as it is easy to drift across lanes. Be aware of your blind spots when using in cab views, however when using no2 camera there is a risk of side swiping a skoda or solo tractor unit that may be obscured by your trailer
kellekerell
I also drive in ego-perspective inside the cabin as this is how it's most realistic Makes more fun etc. Third-Person view feels like driving a truck in GTA or so, so not really my type. If you don't feel comfortable driving first-person you should try it out atleast, it really makes lots of fun especially with a wheel-set
Interstate Nomad
I usually drive in first-person perspective (inside the cabin). On few occations I switch to an outside view, for example, if I got stuck at a fence or on a ramp.
Azuly
Hey there, I generally drive on first person camera. However, when Im driving the Skoda I would rather use the third person view perspective. It gives move perspective of your surroundings. Best regards, Blueyy
TheCreepyTruckr
If my vehicle is driving I'll be in first person. I'll only use the exterior camera if I'm parked or if I'm trying to take screenshots.
Nectarine
Always first person. I sometime use third person to park but I have a wheel so I prefer first.
Beenz.
I feel you have more control over the truck and can see ahead of you better while in first person. I feel when I'm going 68mph and go into third person I feel like I have less control over the truck then if I was in first person. For that reason I only use third person when trying to line up to a buddy or park. HiltoftheDragon
First person (inside cab) when driving. Third person to maneuver in tight places and parking.
Beenz.
I can agree on the parking but I feel maneuvering in tight spaces is not needed as long as you look in your mirrors. Unless backing up if I need to I go 3rd person but most the time I try to stay 1st person. Reaper9518
Hi, I prefer to play in various camera modes because I like to see the trucks and my truck from every angle ... That's cool!
Myth-Qing Huan
I use the first person most of the time.Because it's more real. It's easier to control my truck.Sometimes in traffic jams, I use a third person.
BloodHaven
I'm using first person camera because it's more realistic. I use the third person camera sometimes to look at the traffic light

Mayukh
I use a mix of first person and third person. When I'm on convoys or driving with others I use third person quite a lot or when I go to a scenic place. I use first person when I'm just cruising along with the cruise control on. TruckinSirius
Always first person, unless i can't see the traffic lights then I'll switch to third just till the light changes.

Stubborn.
I use first person pretty much all of the time, I find it harder to judge distances from outside and seeing in front of the truck. It is also more realistic. Though I could understand why some prefer third person and it is useful sometimes.
Nelicopterr
I drive in 1st person whilst moving and use 3rd person for parking, or if at standstill to see what's going on around me.
SammyCat
Hi there! I drive in 1st person when there is no congestion infront of me, but when there is congestion infront of me, I switch to 3rd person, to see what the cause of the congestion is and go from there to see if I need to slow down quickly, or if I can overtake in another lane, if there is one. Positivetrucking168
I generally tend to use first-person view when actively driving 95% of the time, and I use the third person view (Cam 3) when unloading/loading as it's the easiest way for me to handle unloads, however when I am in cities, I do also occasionally tend to switch over to Camera 0 to get the idea of what goes on in the surrounding area outside of the depot where I am parked.
