ATS Mp Snow causing huge lAG UNPLAYABLE

Was playing MP (ATS) everything was going great until it started snowing, looked really cool at first, liked the look, then all of a sudden HUGE LAG, can no longer drive, MP has become UNPLAYABLE

 

anyone have a fix for this?

Just had the same thing, I don't think its the snow though, ran fine all day then BOOM, dropped FPS. I think this might be server side.

yes, its been snowing all weekend on ATS.

Also when I got on like 30 min ago it was 600 in the server. now only 100 so it looks like we are not the only ones.

For me its definitly the snow. the lag started right as it started snowing went from 100 to 0.1 frames.

And the frame i got every ten seconds showed the snow turned into a laser show.

I was scared it was my GPU dying on me, it happened when I connected my trailer then boom HUGE Lag when I pressed ESC it was fine no lag in the menu.

Yea i just got on and i have 2FPS, when are they going to fix this, just bought all Location DLC's and all trailer DLC's... wanting to play with them not sit here with disco lights in mid air

Apparently the fix to this is to go to the settings on TruckersMP and turn off the snow, and it will work again.

It's easier to disable it in the ATSMP/config.txt file:
