VTC.World — for real fans of cargo transportation

 

First of all, it must be said that this project is not suitable for everyone, because here it is necessary to deliver cargos and drive carefully — you will play the game as it was intended by SCS Software. If you are a fan of collective farm tuning, you want to get everything at once and, of course, a fan of driving fast — then this project is definitely not for you.

 

What will you get when you register?

 

After registering on the VTC.World project:

 

• you will get a brand new game profile that has 4 level/skill points that can be used at your own discretion. The starting capital is 120 thousand euros for ETS2 and 135 thousand dollars for ATS. It is forbidden to cheat money and gaming experience, and attempts to do so will be severely punished - permanent ban from the project without the possibility of appeal.
• storing the profile on the server. This allows all players to be on an equal level, where you can build up a new and powerful truck only after you earn money and increase your level by transporting dozens of goods and driving thousands of kilometers.
• your current progress is automatically saved and you can see detailed information about each cargo delivered by you at any time. You don't need to upload screenshots, fill out reports, etc. On VTC.World you just transport cargos and enjoy by that without unnecessary manipulation, and the system will do everything itself.
• your friends can join you at any time, taking your cargo and getting the same saved route so you can continue the journey in a convoy.
• for VTCs there are planning arrangements, this is a simply indispensable tool, allowing reduced time for preparation and organisations of convoys. Logisticians need to choose the cargo, route and make a save. After that, VTC employees, by pressing just one button, will be at the start position of the convoy with the necessary cargo and the route set.
• hotkeys, information and your own overlay allow you to control the process of your delivery. What are the hotkeys? Well, for example, by clicking on the button you can update the jobs, if suddenly they are not on the list in your chosen city.
• disabled the ability to lend money from the bank.
• disabled the ability to hire drivers.
• changed the cost of buying and selling garages. The cost of selling a garage is less, and buying a garage online is more expensive.
• changed the cost of fines and the impact of traffic violations on the game level. In contrast to the basic economy of the game, in addition to monetary penalties for traffic violations, on the VTC.World, the player loses game experience (XP).
• some gameplay settings are also changed so that all players are on an equal level. Always on: police (traffic violations), realistic fuel consumption, parking brake when appearing in the game world, speed limits, preferred route - optimal.
• TOP rating 10 and TOP rating 50 in six nominations. TOP rating of the players of the day, week and month are available.

Specificity

 

• Your friends list in the games in the Steam privacy settings have to be available to everyone (i.e. set to public).
• Arcade servers are not supported.

 

The benefits of VTC.World

 

• For VTCs, it is a great tool to see the real achievements of your employees. And given the future functions - it will simply be an indispensable tool for the organisation of convoys in your company.

We started using this app with my vtc members. We're using this from last week and we didn't saw any issue about it. Whenever i have a question i always contacted with Alex and he helped me every single time. Players who wants to play this game with simulation standards should use this app and i am hundred percent behind of it, i'll highly suggest that. Dear friends, today we have reduced the number of hours needed to start a career in our project. Now to be able to play with a VTC.World profile you must have game time at least 50 hours for Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator in the Steam.

Since VTCW prohibits third-party applications from accessing its profile, and saves do not contain all statistical information to lowest the weight of save files, we cannot provide compatibility with TrucksBook at these moment. Also, I can't guarantee that this will be possible in the future, since TrucksBook needs access to the save files that can't be granted.

VTC.World services have been updated and over the past 2 weeks I have tried to solve the most important problems that have plagued many users, such as:

• Instability of the telemetry server.
• Periodic disconnections from the telemetry server.
• Duplicates in the delivery history.
• Presence of cargo after its delivery in the game at the next entry.

All requests for technical support were not ignored and solved, this is very important for us and for you.

 

But now, I will be happy to see all VTC.World users online, so that we can check how effective the measures and improvements that have been made are.

Hello community,

We are happy to announce another update that affects gameplay with the VTC.World in-game profile.

If you now play on the VTCW profile, you have real diesel fuel prices, from the real world. Prices are updated once a week. For American Truck Simulator, this will be activated soon on the server.

At the moment, in some countries, fuel prices are lower than in the base game 

This is another step of the VTC.World to a simulator in multiplayer without being hardcore.

VTC.World turns 4 years old. Yes, it is exactly 4 years ago from the moment the project was invented and its concept was worked out.

Today we released next update that changes the gameplay and deliveries economy.

 

We have introduced the term of «popular» and «unpopular» cargo, which directly depend on what cargo the VTCW community carries. The most popular cargos start to fall in price over time and the probability of their appearance decreases. The less popular ones start to grow in value and are more often offered for delivery. In this way, the community fully influences the cargo economy.

This is not the final implementation and we will continue to improve this.

The month of mass vacations has come and our Sunday meetings will be even less frequent. But I think we can make up for it a little.

I will tell you - "What has been done", "What problems we know about", and "What will happen next".
 

What have we done?
 

1. We have implemented real fuel prices in ETS2 and ATS and have tested this for several months. Cool feature! It works!
2. We have implemented a dynamic cargo economy that is completely dependent on the VTC.World community carries. We have tested this for several months and we can confidently say that it works as we expected. Earlier, we received complaints that new players do not feel the changes in the economy on the VTC.World profile - the dynamic cargo economy now complements this perfectly.
3. The storage of profiles was modified, so that there was a place to store VTC profiles.
4. Licensed skin library, updated CEF browser engine. This allowed us to solve the problem of crashing and closing the client in some cases.
5. New network library licensed. This made it possible to improve and optimize data exchange with the telemetry server, optimize the telemetry server operation.
6. The service library for debugging is licensed, which made it possible to identify and fix multiple bugs, and also, now it is one of the main tools in the work on new versions.
7. Solved multiple problems with network connections to our servers. Now, everything is clear!

 

What problems do we know about?
 

1. Spawning at the previous location when joining a friend/event in case of a disconnection from the TruckersMP servers with the reason "Unreliable connection". No idea how to fix this from our side. We expect TruckersMP to fix and finalize this.
2. Random freezes of the game, it is not clear why and when, for 5-10 seconds or permanently, when the VTCW client continues to work. This is a recent issue and we are working on it to understand the causes of these freezes. We are not sure if they are related to VTCW only. We continue to study this problem.
3. "I handed over the cargo, re-entered the game, and I'm again with the load!" - Read the FAQ! Configure your antivirus and firewall already! If you cannot do it yourself, please contact our support.

 

What will happen next?
 

1. Since VTC.World is being developed as an international project exclusively for TruckersMP, we (like TruckersMP) must support the legislation of the European Union, in particular - the GDPR law. We originally hoped we could avoid this, but no. The new TruckersMP rules for unofficial utilities have accelerated this process and therefore supporting the GDPR is now a priority for us.
2. Based on our concept, loners and VTC should exist in one ecosystem. Each VTC needs its own transport to carry out its activities, and this is true. Now in our community, there are many players of different levels, with a different vehicle fleet. It is essentially a ready-made used truck market in the VTC.World community. And this will be the first step in this ecosystem.
3. VTC system. The main thing that has already been repeatedly announced is that VTC employees will have a work profile that will be pre-configured by the head. It will be a working machine that you cannot tune, change its components. Only the VTC management will decide which car and what configuration to provide to the driver. More news about the VTC system, economy, ratings - we will tell you in the future.

We have released an update to our VTC.World client with support of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator versions 1.38, but in addition, we have made some changes to the rating system so that the game is fair for everyone, and also implemented some features that were announced earlier as part of the road to GDPR compliance.
 

Here is the full list of changes of latest VTC.World update:

 

+ Support of Euro Truck Simulator 2 v.1.38.1.3s.
+ Support of American Truck Simulator v.1.38.1.22s.
+ Support of the «American Truck Simulator — Idaho» DLC.
+ Support of ProMods v.2.50.
+ Support of updates on the server.
+ If the fuel economy is more than 9.99l. but less than 15l., assigned is maximum TMR as equivalent of 15l.
+ You can now join to opened events within a single game no more than once every 65 minutes. Not applicable for 24-hour events.
+ For the history of the delivery added parameter the «Rating distance».

Rating distance
+ Can not exceed 25% of the planned distance.
+ According to this distance, TMR is calculated for «Mass/Distance».
+ TOP's now only take into account rating distance.
+ All deliveries in the history and TOP's were recalculated.

 

GDPR
+ For the user profile, in edit mode, the ability to download your data that we do not consider public and store for your account has been added.
+ Implemented the «Right to be forgotten». The option to delete your account is now available in your account settings.
