cannot open config.txt

cant run etsMP i got error cannot open config.txt and config.dat i do everything unninstal/install ETS2/MP run as admin its just dont work any help ? thanks

Hello  

Can you try these:

Right click the config file. Select "open with" to notepad

If this doesn't work try to reintall mp. Your config file might be corrupted

> Press the Windows key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard.

> Type "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotation marks).

> Search for the folder "TruckersMP" and delete this folder.

> Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder "TruckersMP Launcher".

> Go to our website and download the launcher again with administrator rights and install it https://truckersmp.com/download/

 

 

Also, try to verify your game:

> Go to Steam library

> Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify in-game files 

 

Finally, you should start TruckersMP launcher as administrator.

Right click on TruckersMP Launcher icon

Click "Start as administrator"
