Cannot create temp log file! error

Hi there,

Do you have this Problem just on MP or SP too?

Which system you are using? -> 32 or 64 bit?

Do you use any mods ? If yes, try to remove all of them, then start game

 

In this case, you should start TruckersMP launcher as administrator.

  • Right click on TruckersMP Launcher icon
  • Click "Start as administrator"

Also try this

> Go to Steam library

> Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local Files

> Verify in-game files 

 

> Go to ETS 2 / ATS
> Click "Play" http://prntscr.com/i96kvu
> Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit) http://prntscr.com/i96l3x Make sure you chose 64 bit.
> Start ETS 2
> Choose your profile and press "drive"
> Close ETS 2

Hello :) 

 

First you should check if there are any updates for you graphic card and windows updates.

Clean your temp files with ccleaner https://www.ccleaner.com/

Also disable any mods that you use in SP.

 

Then follow these guides:

Solution 1:

1.Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework

2.Clean your temp files with CCleaner

3.Check your temp files path and make sure it's located at C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache

4.If you don't have "INetCache" folder make a new folder and name it "temp" and then open the Windows temp settings and choose the new path.

In addition to reinstalling your launcher and running it as Administrator, you can try these out too.

 

Make sure you have latest .NET Framework (or later), DirectX, and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015. You can check this guide too.

You can also use CCleaner to clean files and registry errors.

 

Additionally, you can check if your Firewall/antivirus is blocking the game.

@togultay, do you have all required map DLCs? Missing even one of them will most likely cause crashes as TruckersMP doesn't check if you have required map DLC's linked to your TruckersMP account. 

Here's map booster bundle, which can be also used as a checkup tool. Anything not marked in as "in library" is most likely missing. Just make sure that you're logged in to your Steam account after clicking on the link below.

If you want to ask anywhere on forums whenever 32-bit version of MP will be supported in future, try to start GTA V on your 32-bit machine before checking game's system requirements.

From what I see(https://prnt.sc/q1agzh) you're most likely missing Beyond the Baltic Sea and Italia DLC's. ProMods uses assets from these DLC's, as well as those from the already owned map DLC's. Also, make sure that the drive, on which you have your Documents folder isn't write protected, or full and that the mentioned folder isn't read only. There's also a chance that you left the file open in Notepad, making it inaccessible for other programs.
