Built along the banks of the River Danube, it was originally best known for its fishing industry. Today, it serves as an important hub for many surrounding towns and small villages.One such small commune is located right across the River. However, you will find that there are no bridges or tunnels to travel across into the village Smârdan. So how does one exactly cross the river? By boat of course!The BAC river ferry will be the first of its kind to feature in our upcoming map expansion, Road to the Black Sea.
