Boomatisch
Hello Everyone!. I have a Question. Does anyone know how is this posible?? And is it allowed? Thank You for your Reply Best Regards Boomatisch
EmreBEKAR
I think this can be done with save edit. But I don't know if it's legal. If you want, you can check the rules.
buksee
It is indeed done with save edit, and it is legal as long as the cargo is the same size or smaller than the trailer itself.
Boomatisch
Thank´s for your Reply! Well i guess Save-Edit isn´t allowed??. And do you have then 2 diffrent Destination´s? Best Regards! Boomatisch
buksee
Save-editing is allowed as long as you are following the TruckersMP rules. In this case you only change the look of the cargo, so the destination and the weight is the same as before. You can also modify the weight of the cargo, so you can have the Locomotive with let's say, 5 tonnes instead of 61 tonnes.
Boomatisch
Hello @bukseo Thank´s for your Reply! Ok that´s something that i dont know with Save Edit and modify the weight. But why do this some People? I mean do you have a advantage? Best Regards! Boomatisch
buksee
It doesn't have any advantages, it's only for looks. People do this when they are just driving around, and they don't actually deliver the cargo they picked up.
Judha_
Thats save editing. You can go to https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/forum/423-save-editing/ But yea if you deliver cargo with that trailer some part will missing, and you should add it (save edit) again after delivering your cargo. Granite [SVK]
Personally, I think all this manipulation of cargo and trailer weight should be illegal, if you want specific cargo, you should also have matching weight. Otherwise, it is very deceptive, often trucks with visually heavy cargo/2 trailers accelerate faster than me with empty single curtainsider - for example standard Krone Profi Liner weighs about 6 tons empty. Modifying cargo or trailer weght bellow it's default value should not be allowed, not on simulation servers for sure.
MrSirViking
This sort of thing is allowed. But i depends on the trailer and the cargo used. And i dont see a problem with editing the weight, since most people cant see how much you weigh anyway or dosent know how much something is supposed to weight. Just as long as you follow the rules and dont set it to be under 0 tonne. I myself have never edited cargo and weights, but i have done engine swaps
[TR-Team]*EM_Edmund
In TruckersMP rules it says cargo swap is allowed, which you can check there (3.7). But you should keep in mind that the cargo should not be floating or clipping through other parts in the trailer and with a positive weight. In my opinion yours is fine for driving in multiplayer. Fr0zR.-
It is legal? seems that yes. It does have any sense? for my it don't have too much sense carring different trailers and modify the weight. I think that the only reason to do that modification is just to attract the attention of the other drivers...
