Hello, If you are in a highly populated area your fps will be most likely low as your PC is trying to load in all the people around you. So, try to avoid busy areas like Duisburg, Calais or D-C road.

1-)If your game start with DX9, You can get start the game with DX11.

  • My Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > config.cfg > edit with notepad > Find this line "uset r_device "dx9" change to dx11 and save the file.

2-)Make sure that an application that forces the processor does not work in the null. Disabled the unnecessary running background programs.

3-)Windows 10 Game Mode helps create the best possible gaming experience on Windows 10. When you use Game Mode, gaming becomes the priority on your PC so you get better game quality and performance. To use Game Mode, make sure it's turned on for each game you play.

  • Press the Windows Logo Key  + G to open Game bar.
  • Select Settings  in Game bar.
  • In the General tab, select the Game Mode check box.
  • Note: Some games automatically turn on Game Mode. If so, the check box will already be selected.

4-)Verify your ETS2 game files.

In order to verify your game files, you need to open the Steam Launcher. After that head over to your library and make a right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Once you have done that open the Properties and head over to Local Files. After you successfully arrived there, click on "Verify integrity of game files" and wait until Steam is done doing that. You may receive a new download after Steam is done.

5-)Reinstall TruckersMP completely.

  • Open your Windows Search and search for %programdata%. It should find a folder called %programdata% - open that folder.
  • Once you opened that folder, try to find the folder TruckersMP and delete it.
  • Open your documents and delete the folder(s) ETS2MP / ATSMP
  • Once you have done that, open your windows control panel and head over to programs and features. Once you are in there, delete the TruckersMP Launcher.
  • After that head over to our download page and download the Launcher.
  • Once the launcher is downloaded, run it as Administrator and follow the instructions. Please make sure to enter the correct ETS 2 / ATS path(s)! More informations about reinstalling our Launcher can be found in this article

6-)Update your DirectX.

7-)Disable unnecessary in-game settings.

  • In ETS2MP Open your TAB menu.
  • Right click on your mouse
  • A yellow arrow appears to navigate,then go to click Settings.
  • Uncheck Load Cabin Accessories and Use Fast Loading of models,
  • General -> Development Logging -> Disable,
  • Drivers animation -> Disable,
  • After you did that just click on Apply and ok -> Restart your Game,
