login error

Question

Hi, sometimes i can't login to truckermp ingame.
It happened for the first time about a week ago. I only got this error message the picture is showing. A few hours later it let me login though.

Today i tried three times (morning, afternoon and evening), only getting the error message.

In general the login process takes much more time since 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunately the error message is cut off and i have not found someone describing a similar problem here.

Please try these things

Solution 1:
Update the time and date on your computer and login again later.

Solution 2 :

  • Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  • Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  • Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  • Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

Later please follow these steps:

 

1. "Automatic time setting" → ON
2. "Set time zone automatically" → OFF
3. Select a time zone (for example, UTC + 01:00)
4. Restart your computer to test and try again start the game

 

If your problem still exists after you've done all the steps above, try them below: 

- Try to log-in multiplayer with different router.
- Try to log-in multiplayer with the internet of your phone that has android or ios OS.

Please try:

Solution 1:

Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

Solution 2:

Open any VPN program and try again.

Turn off firewall and anti-vuris programs.

Try turning your router off for 1 minute and then turning it back on and see if you still have connection problems

Try clearing your DNS cache, follow this link for the guide https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache 

Solution 3:
Install these two programs .NET Framework    -   VisualC++

The error did not occur today, i played once in the morning and once in the evening without problems. So i wasn't able to try any of the suggestions listed above. I will do so and give feedback if the error occurs again. At the moment i can't give any feedback since it seems to happen randomly, i haven't noticed any pattern or reason about why or when this error occurs.
