tires ETS2: Favourite tire setup/rating. (A-C-80 Rating etc.)

What's your favourite tire choice to use on your truck, and what is your most liked rating?

 

I have included 2 screenshots with the current tires I have, obviously I don't have them all you can see plus I have included an example rating of A B 70.

 

 

An example reply could be "I like the Michelin X Line Energy Z because of its B B 69 rating."

 

Now personally I do use 385/55 Michelin X Line Energy F which is A B 70.

A very 'specific' topic I suppose, however I do prefer using DLC tyres, not a fan of the base game tyres.

I haven't felt any differences by changing the tires. Perhaps there is subtle change of driving stability and fuel consumption. I just choose the one which looks beautiful withing pairing to my trucks xD

I really wonder if theses letters and numbers really mean anything in this game or its just there for realism purpose and doesn't actually affect anything at all.

I noticed that the tires do not have much influence on fuel consumption, but I prefer to use the Michelin DLC only for an aesthetic factor.

I guess there will be somewhat noticable difference between the two extreme fuel efficiency ratings  - A and E, but can't tell how much, because I only use tyres with A rating.

I dont't know about the difference between various wet weather traction ratings either, because it's always sunny wherever I go (disabled weather changes due to this being unsynchronized , once it starts raining it would rain for weeks, and the weather only changes when you fast travel/use ferry)

Noise rating is quite noticable if you pay attention to the noise tyres are generating, but again, bigger difference in rating is more noticable - in this case smaller number means less noise.

BTW, who else spells "tyres"? (in-game it's spelled like this with default English language setting)

If I had Michelin DLC, I would use it. As I don’t have it, I use Goodyear because I think they are better than the base game tires.
