It boils down to somebody being lazy, or delaying it on purpose. Maybe to make us so happy that it comes back online that we forget how bad the latest changes are. Some updates are big with huge noticeable changes, some updates are simply small, quite possibly minor bug fixes. The developers work very hard with multiple tasks to do all the time, whether it be simply patching for new updates or doing internal updates for TruckersMP itself.
