Have to enter credentials and reset all game settings on every launch.

Hi, everytime I launch ATS via TMP I'm asked to enter account credentials, even though I tick 'Remember Me' and when the game launches i have to reset all game settings i.e. controller, graphics, sounds, gameplay, and keyboard assignments. It's like it launches for the first time on every launch. 

 

Things I've tried:

Gone into tab menu and applied/saved.

Created new save file

 

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you resolve?

 

 

Thanks for the overwhelming silence...way to go community, nice support! Easy decision from here, that's one thing we resolved.

Hi there,

 

You should look after corrupted files in %appdata% or somewhere else that your TMP luncher installed on,

Best way is to find these files that is corrupted and dlete them, than restart your pc and delete the cache by remove power cable.

 

When TMP is unistalled than install it with fresh installer.

No, have tried multiple solutions including uninstall, clear cache/data, reinstall....Same issue I have to login, agree to T&Cs and then proceed to set up all parameters of game like first time launch. It's like every time I exit it wipes all parameters and the next time I go to play I have to start all over from scratch.

 

Config:

Utilizing Steam account

Installation path correct (game does launch and I am able to play after all of the above,  just does not retain game settings or login for that matter.)

Troubleshooting:

• Complete uninstall/delete/reinstall
• saving via tab menu
• creating new save file

I have stopped playing multiplayer as this is too much prerequisite work to go through every time.

Hey @MrWildChild,

 

when you completely uninstalled TruckersMP, did you also deleted the "TruckersMP"-folder in %programdata%?

If not, try to uninstall TruckersMP again:

• Uninstall your TruckersMP Launcher
• Delete the folder named "TruckersMP" in %programdata%. Press WIN+R and type in %programdata%
• Open your documents folder and delete the folders named ETS2MP / ATSMP

Your problem sounds very strange, and it is very personal, and that's why I would check the system files.

 

Here is how you can do that:

 

Start menu

Open CMD with admin permissions

Write: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Wait until it finishes working.

Then write: sfc /scannow

Wait until it finishes working.

 

You can't lose anything if it won't work, but at least you will have more stable system.
