Additional function to Fuel Stations

Recommended Posts

Suggestion Name: Additional function for Fuel Stations

Suggestion Description: Some times we ended up in an uncomfortable situation of "Engine malfunction" in the middle of the road, worse at night, away from a city, abandoned by the /fix command, without a place to repair and the nearest stop is a fuel station. So why not add the service function in some fuel stations with such infrastructure to be able to do little fixes on our vehicles quickly?

Why should it be added? This would give a usability to currently useless game structures, improving realism of gameplay, and reduce dependency on commands such as /fix what has cooldown time.

Hello @sQCF - Beater,

Thank you so much for your suggestion. While it is good, unfortunately we are going to have to decline it. There are so many options in game for you to fix your truck. You can drive to a service station, F7 to service, or use the /fix command. This command is more than sufficient to fix your truck while stranded. The use and application of this command was set and voted on by the community when it was first implemented. The amount of work and mod file size needed to add service points to fuel stations rules out this suggestion from being viable. Additionally, it would only benefit a limited number of people, and for only very specific circumstances.
