NonstopGam3r1337 Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 when I try tostart the game i get an error saying American Truck Simulator can not access steam client. Suggested Steps: 1. Check that the steam client is running. 2.Check taht you have updated version of the steam client 3.Check that the automatic updates are enabled and the game is updated to the latest version I have tried all of these and did what it said but i still get the error, can someone help? 0 Guest Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Hello! Please first try to check %appdata% if you find any Ets2 or ats files and delete them. You can as well uninstall ets2 or ats and re download both of them. If that does not work for you, Than you might consider to reinstall steam. Since TMP luncher works without any problems ?
