Pride Convoy 2020

The 2020 Pride convoy is an event that will be taking place on 1st of June, 2020. With help from Fun4All and any members that apply, we will be able to celebrate Pride for those who had to fight for their right to marry, love, and be accepted as part of the community.

2020 will be the first Pride Convoy Event hosted on TruckersMP and will surely not be the last of them.

It is important to note - This is not a charity event. This event is here to raise awareness for discrimination against the community, not to raise money for it. The intention is to celebrate and take pride!

Why not have a chance to join in the fun, doing what you love to take Pride of the love between any and all genders and the acceptance of all sexual orientations.

Schedule

The Schedule will be approximate times only, however, routes have been driving and overestimated to ensure more accurate timings. (All times are in BST / UTC+0100)

TruckFest: 19:00 - 20:00

Route 1: 20:00 - 21:00

Route 2: 21:15 - 22:15

Route 3: 22:30 - 23:30

Route 4: 23:45 - 00:45

Route 5: 01:00 - 02:00

 

We understand completely that, due to timezones and or timings, you may not be able to make it to the event.

The staff has worked very hard on times that will work for most people, however, impossible to achieve all.

This is the reason we made multiple routes, therefore, more people will be able to attend Route 1 from the UK, but not as many for Route 5.

Attendance is not required, however, it is our goal to attempt to get as many people part of this event as possible and get the best possible outcome.

If these times do not fit your needs or personal schedule, we are sorry, especially if you are unable to turn up to the event.

Although, these are the times we chose, and, unless further action needs to be taken, these are remaining permanent.

At the current moment in time, Applications for different positions are open.

Please note, they will not be read until 2-3 Months before the Convoy

The open positions include:

Any other position is closed.

 

Rules
Of course. Here comes the boring bit. The Section that no one loves, however, is required the most because some of the community lack common sense.

All of these are reiterated in the Discord - Mainly adapted from TruckersMP rules to keep a standard with their community.

 

DISCORD RULES

These rules are to be followed at all times, with the exception to staff IF REQUIRED.

Policy A - Channel Usage

(A)01. All channel use is limited to their designated purpose, as they were designed for.

(A)02. The act of posting repetitive or unwanted messages (also known as 'spam') is prohibited.

(A)03. Any and all arguing is prohibited in public channels - Discussions are welcome, providing all rules are followed.

(A)04. Posting any personal information of any user, including yourself, is strictly prohibited.

(A)05. English is to be the only language used within any non-specific language channel.

(A)06. Abuse of Discord's reaction feature is prohibited.

(A)07. Bot usage is limited to the #bot-commands channel.

Policy B. - Voice Specific Rules

(B)01. Static or unwanted noise from microphones is prohibited.

(B)02. Playing Music is strictly prohibited.

(B)03. Any Soundboards are prohibited.

(B)04. The use of Voice Changers or Voice Modifiers are strictly prohibited.

Policy C. - Advertisement

(C)01. Advertisement to a VTC is prohibited, with the exception to partners.

(C)02. Advertisement to a Discord Guild or Community is prohibited with the exception to Partners and #event-advertisement.

(C)03. Event Advertisement is to only be used to advertise an event related to Truckers MP.

(C)04. Event Advertisement is limited to 1 post.

(C)05. Advertising any form of Video or Livestream is prohibited unless you are part of the Media Team, and it is related to the event.

(C)06. Advertisement of an Internet Radio Station is prohibited, with the exception to partners.

Policy D. - Display Names

(D)01. Impersonation of any other person and/or staff member is prohibited.

(D)02. Any and all display names must be appropriate, and may not contain any offensive, explicit or defamatory language.

(D)03. Display names should not contain any characters that utilize Zalgo text or similar text encoding

Policy E. - Inappropriate Content

(E)01. The act of posting any content that contains any explicit, inappropriate, pornographic imagery, links, videos, sounds, messages or content of this nature is strictly prohibited.

(E)02. Posting any content that shows, encourage or stimulate any sexual act; organ or anything related.

(E)03. The use of IP Trackers or other malicious websites or files containing viruses, malware, torrents, illegal software, etc. is strictly prohibited.

(E)04. The use of Self-Bots is strictly prohibited by us, and the Discord Terms of Service.

(E)05. Suggesting, requesting or implying to any user to break any of the rules is strictly prohibited.

(E)06. The use of @everyone is disallowed, with the exception to staff.

(E)07. Do not post any content provoke a debate about religion or politics.

(E)08. All images are to be SFW, with no exception.

In-Game Rules

Any Rule marked with an asterisk does not have to be followed, providing we get an event server

Title 1. - Driving Rules

(1)01. Utilizing any kind of tool to change gameplay, including but not limited to: the in-game console, trainers or cheat engine in order to bypass the speed limiter, to jump back, no collision hack or anything similar is strictly prohibited and will be acted upon by Truckers MP Staff.

(1)02. Causing a collision with another player intentionally or due to negligence, or attempting to cause a collision by steering towards a players vehicle is prohibited and will be acted upon by Truckers MP Staff.

(1)03. Restricting a player's travel path, blocking entrances/exits to highways or other entry points or similar is prohibited and will be acted upon by Truckers MP Staff.

(1)04. Driving the incorrect way down a road, or overtaking a vehicle in the convoy without Convoy Control Permission will be acted upon by event staff or Truckers MP Staff depending on the severity of the situation. [*with convoy control]

(1)05. Driving in such a way that is considered unsafe and puts other people in danger, driving backwards, failing to yield to Convoy Control and Event Staff, ignoring other players and rules is prohibited and will be acted upon by Truckers MP Staff.

(1)06. Parking or stopping anywhere in the convoy inappropriately or for no reason is prohibited.

(1)07*. Convoy Control is restricted from blocking or slowing traffic or taking the convoy into highly populated areas intentionally.

Title 2. - Save Editing Rules

(2)01. It is not permitted to mix parts between truck, trailers and cars. Any truck parts can be used on any truck, any trailer parts can be used on any trailer - but you are not permitted to use any truck parts on trailers or viceversa.

(2)02. It is not permitted to use items intended for the exterior of a truck on the interior, or items intended for the interior on the exterior.

(2)03. It is not permitted to use parts which float from the truck or trailer, such as floating cargo models (even if only one object in the model is floating). It is not permitted to use any parts which cause models to clip through each other, such as a cargo model which clips through the truck cab - minor clipping such as between the parts of a hybrid truck are permitted.

(2)04. It is only permitted to use a trailer combination which is default within each game. The exact trailers and cargoes used do not matter in this rule and can be mixed freely. The maximum length of any trailer combination must not exceed the length of the longest default combination ("HCT" for ETS2 and "Turnpike Double" for ATS, see images below) - using a longer trailer on any combination is permitted if it is within this length.

(2)05. If a mod you are using is found to be affecting other players, you can be banned and required to remove the mod. This includes mods which cause you to lose control of your vehicle and/or trailer(s) and cause a collision. High numbers of duplicate parts are also included in this, meaning the tinted green lights are not permitted - a small amount (1-5) of duplicates is unlikely to cause an issue, but if you are found to be causing gameplay issue with any number of duplicates, you can be banned and required to remove them.

(2)06. Beacon lights are only permitted on default positions - on the roof of trucks or on the dedicated slot on the rear of trailers which support it (not the bumper slots). High amounts of blinking lights can also cause issues and as such can come under this rule.

(2)07. Trailers from the Heavy Cargo DLC on either game must only be in their default combinations. Cargo swaps with other trailers are permitted, but these trailers must not be used in double/triple trailer combinations other than default. The ATS "Forest Machinery" DLC is included within this.

(2)08. The "saddle-mounted truck" trailers in ATS must only be in the default combination, these trailers must not be used in double/triple trailer combinations other than default.

(2)09. Make sure that all mods you are using comply with these rules. You are responsible for all the modifications you decide to apply. If your modifications go against these rules you might face a punishment. If you are unsure whether your mod is allowed or not, ask staff members before going in-game. If a mod you use (regardless of origin) is found to be a cause of you losing control of your vehicle and collide with another player, you are liable to be banned for reckless driving.

Routes are subject to change at any time, therefore, we keep them in live documents that can be edited easily.
