Haven’t played this game since last year, so i think scania S with 730hp would be good if there isn’t a better engine that that.

The 2 trucks i use the most for heavy cargo are to Volvo 8x4 and the Scania Streamline 8x4.

There is no one truck configuration that is the best,or even good,for every type of job.As it relates to heavy cargo,failing to use an appropriate configuration could make the tractor nearly or totally undriveable.

The 8x4 chassis is the logical extension of this,but has the worst fuel economy and largest turning radius.

I use the Volvo FH16  8x4, it pulls pretty well although, the Scania, Man, and Mercedes all pull pretty well also. I for one am willing to try all the trucks just to see which ones just can't handle it and which ones can. Then it's a matter of which one does it well and how does it handle.

Any truck with a 700hp engine and a good gear box ;). I'd pick a Scania if I was you.

Scania R500 "09 i believe, 4x2 heaviest haul was around 40(t) with manual gearbox, just going fine, don't need to be fast.

The best truck for heavy goods is the Scania S730 and 8x4 chassis，I used it to pull 230 tons.
